I am SO GLAD I put a Palbox down in that Cave when the Feybreak Update dropped! Being able to just warp to an area that hase 4 Chromite nodes with my Smokie is so efficient.
You can literally just build a base in front of a dungeon, which is guaranteed to have a minimum of 6 chromite, as well as tons of hexolite. You're doing things wrong.
You need 3 large power generators and a minimum of 6 lvl3 electric power pals to support 6 oil extractors. And I'd recommend 8 or 9 just so you have substitutes when one runs for food. Orserk is probably the best because Grizzbolt will prioritize logging over electricity generation.
You only need 1 Large Power Generator and 2 maxed workspeed passives+soul Orserks for 6 Extractors if you're only gonna be extracting at day time. Otherwise, you need 2 LPG's manned with 4 Helzephyr Lux. this is assuming that your electricity research is at max level; Mine is... and I have 1 base of 4 extractors w/ 1 Orserk and 6 extractors w/ 4 Lux.

It's kinda like Minecraft; mine with the right tool to get the most resources I'd rather repair Pal Metal tools instead of wasting my ammo Plasteel and Hexolite repairing my weapons
Max condense smokie with mineforman and the New pickaxe gives me 450 per node. So a total of 1800 chromemite per run in my still existing Chromite cave base 😂😊
They only took away building in caves because of the altar cheese. Could've just made it to where we can't build altar there. Not proud of their decision made on this
If you are on console try different buttons. I held the rt on Xbox and it let me put one directly on the side of a oil node. It looks like it's just laying on the floor
I Had a base in that same locations before the updates, Best investment, it's still there i have a 4 star Smokie with passives : Mining boost/ Attack boost/ Defense boost/ Handiwork Boost 4 x 4 star Xenovader : same as smokie I can 1 shot everything with pal pickaxe
Anyone else having a bug where their map keeps getting reset every update? I went through and cleared the entire map because it reset after feybreak, and since then every update has blacked out my entire map since and I've had to re-uncover all of it again. The strange part is all my fast travel points are still active but only accessible after I've found it again
Yes but the ore bonus drops in his partner skill only works on regular metal ore I tested it on the chromite and hexolite quartz and was very disappointed I max condensed that dude for nothing I suggest using a legendary rocket launcher to mine it’s faster than positioning your pal
What helped me is I moved far back as could till turned red then stood still moved left to right to see when or if would turn blue then adjusted from there saved so much frustration finally got it :)
Is there a actual benefit to having the larger ore mines? Like they can't store more ore its still 9999, is it just they mine faster? Swear two small ore mines would be more efficient.
Noob question but you mentioned there's a way to level up killamari's Base suitability in watering besides the pal condenser? Can i get some clarification on that?
Technique books. They're a super rare drop from dungeons, lvl60 Oil Rig and Supply Drops. I believe some of the Pal Critics also give you one if you show them like 5 different pals.
there's books you can get in game that allow you to increase a pals work suitability, they're call "applied technique manual" or something similar, they have incredibly low drop rates though.
I hope they fix it so you dont need to to repoace the oil extractors cause i put them in a base where i cant replace them or the base will collapse and i need to rebuild it😂
The squid has just become relevant i didn't even have one past the first cap now they gonna be on my night farming crew, once the xbox save glitch is fixed.
Palworld lets you place 2 extractors per oil deposit, do research to speed up oil exrraction, it only takes 2 generators to run 6 extracors efficiently, we have Azurmane now who's significantly easier to find and catch than Orserk, can find oil in supply drops and on oil rigs, can farm and butcher Kikit to get hundreds of easy oil, all humans have a 40% chance of dropping it, and more! Palworld Community: "We need more oil" 🤦🏼♀️

Only thing I found to fix this is by deleting reinstalling and backing up the world from the last save. Doing it in that order has been the only way I can play palworld. I do this at least once every time I play a long session. 😊
@@Swooptywoop All I do is delete the reserved save data for pal world, restart my Xbox, and load from backup to fix this. It really becomes a problem when trying to savescum, but this only requires a minute tops.

Just turn off logging, pals shouldn't have that issue of doing things you don't want them to anymore once you get the monitoring stand.
Also notice when you mine chromite with the Pal Metal Pick Axe you get much more chromite. 200 as opposed to the 150 from shooting it!
Did you modify your drip settings? The nodes only produce 100 each WITH smokie out

I carry 2, keep smokie out....breeding one now with mine foreman

You could spawn xenolord inside the cave so he cant he spawns his minions because they rained from the stars.

none of my oil nodes look like theses and they don't work. not "all" nodes are the same so don't feel bad
All oil nodes have the same direction. So you have to look toward South West to place the first one. This worked for me.

No matter how hard I tried, placing two extractors just never works for me.
I needed an hour of testing, with some frustrating moments and quitting. Now it worked on all, but one. Couldn´t get that one and gave up

Okay so I'm making a new base and for some reason my pals can't go up the stairs is anybody else having this problem or is it just me

Really shitty they did that to the caves, least I already had a palbox in mine but now I can't even turn it into a real base.
There are four nodes in all the caves on the feybreak island.
Pretty sure it's like a 50% faster for the oil now
It's 100% faster because you're getting double the output of a single node.

Use the Applied Technique books that were added in the Feybreak update. They're very rare, so acquiring enough of them is a challenge.

So the positioning was the problem of mine. Now i watch this....gonna destroy everything first then rebuild.

That happened to me a couple times. I don't remember if it was because I reloaded from a backup or not but it eventually stopped.
