Jis k pas talent hota h uski qadr aj tk pakistan m ki he nhi gae such a shameles nation...............FARAZ ANWAR YOURE THE BEST......AND I KNOW AP KO WOHI SUNTY HAIN JO SAMJ RAKHTY HAIN.........
Listened to this song over and over the past several months so many times. In fact, moreso than anything from Petrucci, Vai, Becker. There is something compelling about Anwar's phrasing, melody, and technique. At one point in the song my jaw drops; another time, my heart soars. There is something about this dude ... I keep coming back.
He is the Jim Root (Slipknot) from Pakistan. Pity we are not highlighting such beautiful talent present in our country. Tactical guitarist like Faraz Anwar should be on the topline of Pakistan's Music Industry.
Can't believe i'm this guy's student. Me and my brother used to watch his videos back in 2009 and be amazed! I can definitely say i'm a seriously big fan of his(i respect him just as much as the greatest guitarists on this planet if not more). Thanks for existing dude and thanks for taking me in as a student of yours.
love from India bro. I am following your art from 2006....very intriguing, your music is very unique in their own way..!!!!!keep up the good music(art)
The introductory tune of the Mizraab song "Ujaalon Main" plays in some parts of this. A beautiful composition nevertheless. If I do not look at the song, I feel like I'm listening to a combination of Dream Theatre and Joe Satriani.
The thing with instrumentals is there are not too many listeners it’s not about PAKISTAN, the genre of music is different then your usual pop/rock .. take for example in US Justin Bieber’s name is known to the world but Steve Vai have hardly any recognition to average music listener, only people who follow that genre will know, so Faraz is a class in his genre in South Asia and there should be no doubt about it, making comments that he is wasted and less views etc and not correct
Agreed that solo guitarist don't get the same limelight as mainstream singers BUT Steve Via's net worth is over $14 million dollars whereas Faraz Anwar was trying to make ends meet by offering guitar solos for $100 on fiver. There's a huge disparity in recognition and income of an artist in Pakistan to an artist in the US
100 percent true. there are not a lot of people who possess the ability to comprehend the technical side of music, they follow the mainstream. To understand the likes of steve vai, satriani, you need to have a certain level of music intelligence, which a lot of people don't have, no offense. but any person who plays any instrument starts seeing music differently, that's when you truly start appreciating the complexities and technicalities of music.
So underrated!. so many musicians got stuck in their comfort zones but he always ventures out .. very skillful under control playing, love the tone. Faraz Anwar thanks for this gem bro!.
Melody, phrasing, and technique are extraordinary. Put a better way, the song is extraordinary. Perhaps the most accurate description: what an *experience*
So, did he play that on fender or Ibenez? Why didn't they take along a drummer/keyboardist into that wilderness? Why are they wearing frikkin black hoodies in the month of June? So many questions.. Jokes apart, cool melody! :)
Lovely Feeling like blood back in body. Keep rockin Nice videography!! Awesome to have a greater and broader look of you Faraz. Wish to see you at some gig. Wish you do in Lahore. Look forward
Starts of a cheesy ballad with a nostalgic melody captivating in its zone but turns out it was wild and very well written. In the end again that melody leaves you wondering if you got the chance. Well, more importantly my guitar hero is back with a bang.
Fabulous Faraz Bhai ...That was so amazing hearing your new instrumental “Closer To Life” from your upcoming album Ishq Ki Subha... please we want more of your talent.
Abhi b Waqt hy Pakistanio is banday ki qadar kar lo
Nai kareinge
Well said bro. He is like one man army
Chutya awam h mohsin abbas aur sasty linear melodies walo se fursat miley to aese logo ka pta chle
Waqai yar..he is a genius
nai karengyy kabhi b.. he is a living legend..
Hail from Nepal .... I have been following dusk for eternity, in my eyes he is one of the best in the world
Such a blessing to have none other than Faraz Anwar in Pakistan's music scene. The best technical guitarist the country ever had.
Love from India bro.
Aamir Zaki
I'd rate Zaki as the most versatile Pakistani guitarist of his time but not the most technically proficient.
Jis k pas talent hota h uski qadr aj tk pakistan m ki he nhi gae such a shameles nation...............FARAZ ANWAR YOURE THE BEST......AND I KNOW AP KO WOHI SUNTY HAIN JO SAMJ RAKHTY HAIN.........
after amir zaki...u r the best faraz...respect for you...

He's a maestro and we're fortunate that Pak has such talent available. I listened to Mizraab so much years ago during my uni days
I can hear the flavours of Lukather ,Marco Sfogli and Petrucci. Loved it.
brill!!!!! love it!
Listened this more than 100 times but still cant get over from this masterpiece .Faraz Anwar bro u are one and only ♥
When its hard to choose Jackson or Fender?
Faraz: hold my beer. I'll use them both in the video or if you have any other bring that one too.
Ibanez*
It is very strange that for the very first time I am seeing him without a Jackson
That Fender is so Malmsteen, down to the colour

we should export this man to dream theater cuz he's highly underrated in his own land.
True 😊 Pakistan very own John Petrucci 💕
This is something "Closer to Heart". wowww!
3:46 this and the following transition is amazing!

so good to see Faraz Anwar back. The drums were a bit annoying though
They sound programmed, I think that's the issue. The song's great though
yr es banday k sath had darjay ki ziyadti ho rahe hai, what an amazing guitarist he is or itna underrated ?
He is doing his work
Getting that satriani feel
Oh good to see Faraz rocking as ever. I wish he releases some new stuff of Dusk!!
Who needs lyrics when a legend is on 🎸
What a legend Faraz Anwar.

Faraz Bhai, this is your fan. Your creative work with guitars is out of this world! Please keep bringing us the rock music!! Best wishes.
Absolutely awesome, expected no less from Faraz Anwar...
Amazing....
So underrated!. so many musicians got stuck in their comfort zones but he always ventures out .. very skillful under control playing, love the tone. Faraz Anwar thanks for this gem bro!.
Yeah seriously .... Though I think drums tone could have been better and they keyboard parts could have been made somewhat more prominent.
Fahad Javaid that’s right, i was focused on guitar tracks but now can’t ignore the drums. 😕
after aamir zaqi there was a gap, Faraz really fill that gap. i hope the world regonise this guitarist and he does not go unnoticed.
4:41 this is what makes him Faraz anwar
well done all the best
The best technical guitarist in the whole world!
Taste of Satch and Petrucci combined!
Wow . Big applause.👍👏
A lot of vibes from through the passage of time, good work nevertheless. Keep it up.
I'm not the only one who noticed... Mainly because the passage album was blasting out my car stereo earlier.

Legend faraz anwar always comes up with a unique different sound as it sounds beyond.
So, did he play that on fender or Ibenez? Why didn't they take along a drummer/keyboardist into that wilderness? Why are they wearing frikkin black hoodies in the month of June? So many questions..
