Gosh...her voice is beyond platinum in this performance. Every time when I listen to Whitney Houston's 80's live performance, how I wish she didn't involve in drugs and cigarettes.
🥰🥰 her voice was on fire!! Just pure raw talent. The way she would open up and release her powed was scary, like Patti but more refind and rounded, full sound.. Her power really did intensify as she ascended. (power in her range - as said by Mariah) .. Babyface always said no one knows how bad she truley was and that was IYBT era. Lord.
@@odumosuolusegun2781 Omg me too! It's so unfair. I hope I live long enough to finally hear the Carnegie Hall, Toronto (from the Greatest love tour) version and the FULL LENGTH version of I am changing from the Luther Vandross opening act she did in 1985! I think all of us Whitney die-hards have suffered long enough with the lack of rare live performances and studio recordings. Pat and Clive need to stop playing games with us and release that shit!
Agree with Babyface 100% I don’t think we really ever heard her truly ability. There were glimpses of it anytime she sang Gospel in the early years- “A quiet place” is once such glimpse. Interestingly Babyface always got the best out of her vocally in each Era he really knew how to write for her voice no matter the condition it was in.
Greatest Whitney of all! I can't forget Whitney's voice! Smart and good voice. So good! Nobody ! Leader Whitney Houston! and one person Leona Lewis is Leona Lewis! Black and White mix.25%white and 75% black!!Good voice!
Back when those old days when I was still junior school and really admired the pure of Whitney's Voice when it was still clean and powerfull No Drugs everyone !! ✌🙏😎👌☺🙏
Unfortunately Whitney started to experience drugs when she was only 14... I couldn’t believe it when I read the Robyn Crawford’s book. 70’s 80’s were too permissive and let people believe that drugs and cigarettes were just an essential ingredient for partying. Whitney also grew up in a difficult social environment where drugs were everywhere: she had little chance of escaping this scourge.
@@drissabderrhamane7948 The 60s were even worse. Doctors would tell women it was fine to have a drink or two while pregnant as long as they didn't get drunk, lol.

[Verse 1]
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Everybody's searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone who fulfilled my needs
A lonely place to be
And so I learned to depend on me
[Pre-Chorus]
I decided long ago
Never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I'll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity
[Chorus]
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
[Verse 2]

[Intro]
Ooh, ooh
[Verse 1]
I found out what I've been missing
Always on the run
I've been looking for someone
[Pre-Chorus]
Now you're here, like you've been before
And you know just what I need
It took some time for me to see, yeah
[Chorus]
That you give good love to me
Baby, it's so good
Take this heart of mine into your hands
You give good love to me (You give good love to me)
It's never (Never too much, will never be) too much
Baby, you give good love (Oh)
[Verse 2]
Never stopping
I was always searching for that perfect love
The kind that girls like me dream of, mm

Now you're here, like you've been before
And you know just what I need
It took some time for me to see

That you give good love to me

Take this heart of mine into your hands
You give good love to me (You give good love to me)
It's never (Never too much, will never be) too much
Baby, you give good love, ooh
[Bridge]
Now I, I can't stop looking around
It's not what this love's all about
Our love is here to stay, to stay
[Chorus]
Baby, you give good love (You give good love to me)
You give (Never too much, will never be)
So good
Take this heart of mine into your hands
You give good love to me (You give good love to me)
It's never (Never too much, will never be), never too much
No, no, no, no, no, you give good love to me

(You give good love to me) It's so good
(You give good love, baby) So good, woo-hoo
(You give good love, darling)
Into your hands (You give, you give, give it)
