I think it would be a bit premature right this moment. Let him gain some more experience and maybe at the next elections he can get an even more senior position and then following elections go for presidency. We need more like him but they also need to build their experience.
I agree. He is so respectful with the way he addresses his towns town's people. And he is fantastic with solutions. Would love to see him in charge of the DA in the next 5 - 7 years.
When someone is doing a sterling job like Pappas , it is inevitable that he will be destined for greater things in terms of leadership opportunities within the Da. Having said that , will him , leaving his current position possible create a vacuum in the municipality he runs. Will his replacement maintain the same standards of ethics, integrity and commitment to serving his constituency.? We want him to rise to the highest political positions within the Da , but at the same ( I have to be selfish and say he is needed on the ground , improving the lives of people in town's and cities that have been decimated and effed up by the Anc..

How many were fired? The ANC did not pay over the PAYE tax of its own employees, resulting in them being unable to pay their salaries, who many were held accountable. How many people who are _known_ to have been involved in serious corruption has simply been redeployed. When the criminal element outnumber the noble, it is impossible for such an organisation to reform itself. Everybody has dirt on them, and anyone who attempt to improve it, will simply be worked out one way or the other. There is no reforming the ANC, it is time to put South Africa first. It is time to abandon the ANC and kick them out of power.

Chris, Please look into BIO GAS PRODUCTION it's cheap and quick to build power plants, it's a much better option over solar and wind.
Anaerobic digesters, a power plant can be built in months and produce enough power to supply a small town using nothing but waste as fuel.
