  • Block 8! Can’t wait. Here’s a stage by stage record of planting stage 1 of my spare paddock.

That machine looks epic!!! You dont have to destroy your back digging all those holes lol.

It’s a solid little beast, that’s for sure. But a bit of digging never hurts either Jared :-)

Good to see holes dug and trees being planted but I’m glad planting is over for Carol and I. However you have your $6 specials, we were given around 20 freebie A4 trees. We have a few left over we plant one day.
The soil looks really good. I’m not sure if I will miss planting but I think I will.

It's great soil I was planting in Karl. The red soil is the funniest stuff - crystalline when dry and clayey when wet. An agronomist looked at that paddock earlier and said it could feed Brisbane!
20 free A4s is nice! Score. Down Nambucca way they do well, if I remember Garth's anecdotes about them.

Great looking block. Thanks so much for your answer to my question in your previous video. I feel privileged you made a whole video for me. I shall reply to it when I get a second. Have been flat out in the gold fields. 😅

Thanks Trent. That paddock is a beauty. Insider story for you.. it used to belong to Peter Fraser, until he decided to sell it to Dr Arnott (Nutkin Farm's creator). He regrets the decision now but it's too good to sell back!

    Hi Daniel
Thank you for your latest video. Just wondering if you have had a chance to do anymore harvesting?
    Cheers W

Hi Paul! I'm waiting on the next harvest now - hopefully in the next week or two. The grassed blocks I mowed down are ready as the cut grass has withered and shouldn't be a pest for a harvester. If I'm not there to video some of it I'll at least do an update on the subject soon. Thanks for your interest.

Hello. How much mac do you get in 1 hectare? Thank you for the good work

My highest during this rehab period for Nutkin has been a little under 2t/ha Wilson. I'm hoping for better as it recovers.

Hi Baytony - the planting distance I chose is 4 metres apart along a row. The rows themselves are 9 metres apart.
