It's a good tent for Florida, I just tossed the coleman signal mountain tent which is very similar. Might go for this one or the 4 person. It's so tough finding a tent with lots of windows for the year round florida heat
Such tents are easily laid on the bottom of a canoe. Oh by the way, this is sunny day tent. Only. When you get summer thunderstorms YOU WILL GET WET IN THE TENT. IT WILL LEAK! It needs a full fly going to the ground on all side's, being able to be guyed out to allow air flow.
