I did the same rear disc conversion about two years ago. I used a a 76 series housing with out the bracing. They look more factory for the 40 series & easier to move the spring mounts. I’m also using the factory 79 rear locker.

should put a y62 v8 in the sucker... call it a nissota.... or a landtroller. patruser... or just call it fuckin awsome.... sure would sound good. and pull wheelies.

Cracking Ep and Well done on the conversion, Ive had a Ebay all alloy Radiator in my 80 series for 6 or 7 years best radiator Ive fitted to her.
Well this was certainly more entertaining than the torque converter I pulled out of my dozer yesterday....

In my native Puerto Rico, we used to exchange the cam shaft from a 6 cilinder Chevy, and that engine became a different animal 😮

That exhaust on the old 2F, was it better than the factory one, performance wide?
A set of extractors and a 2 1/2" system really help the old 2F's breath better.

not gonna lie, that’d be a sick swap. It’d take forever to get bored with it and if you somehow did… bam, slap a Harrop supercharger on it.
If doing a non Toyota motor swap an LS would be a better option than the Nissan.
