Klaus helps Hope cope with her pain in an unconventional way. A figure from Elijah's past comes back seeking help. Elsewhere, Marcel takes on the nightwalkers, while Vincent deals with the fallout of a fateful decision.

Hope is so powerful, so frustrating how they make her seem so weak on legacies. As if siphoners are more powerful than Klaus mikaelsons daughter.
Darienne Hutchinson true, but Hope also had the Hollow in her which greatly boosted her power. It’s like when Freya and Dahlia were linked, they could each do impressive feats of magic but as soon as the link was broken, Freya was not as powerful. Don’t get me wrong, they are both still supremely powerful, just not as powerful as they used to be.

They built her up in legacies with all these prophecy’s of her growing to be the strongest witch anyone would ever see and I think they pick and chose when they want to showcase that in Legacies, half the spells she gets Josie and Lizzie to do with her she could’ve done on her own if it was the originals.
I know that she had the Hallow in her in this clip and that’s why she was as strong as she was but even without it she was one powerful mofo and Legacies kinda nerfed her a heap in Season 1 and gave her a little bit more power in Season 2 and now I’m just hoping that come Season 3 they writers wisen up and let her be a bit more powerful and be the strong hope we know (like she is a miracle Tribrid and the grandchild of the Original Witch).
I hope they make her show her true power in legacies the next season I know for a fact she is way more powerful than syphons i Mean she has the blood of the originals The witch who created vampirism and she's a tribrid it just makes more sense if they Made her the most powerful supernatural being ever hell i even think she's more powerful then Bonnie i bring her up because alot of people say that Bonnie is stronger because she uses earth magic and the power of the Benet blood line but that doesn't mean anything comparing to hope Michaelson if she learned how to do same thang we are talking thousands of Michaelson generation whiches. One more thing I say thousands because Klaus michaelsen alijah Michaelson Fria michaelson Rebecca Michaelson cole Michelson and Finn Michaelson are older than a 1000 years if you're also including before they were turned maybe not exactly 1001 but they are still older who knows how Far back Michelson witches go in their family they definitely go back further then vampires. Hope is underrated in Legacies. She's powerful here but in Legacies she has to cast a spell to open a door.

I think after she killed all the vampires she realized how dangerous her magic can be. This is like a 100 vampires. And she melted their brains. She didn't bleed or fade, she casted such a powerful spell with so mucj ease that it scared her. Also in legacues there are other main characters. But everyone knows hope is the strongest

Ok this scene with hope is amazing and all but why is nobody talking about what Vincent and all the witches just did.
Meraz Khan i know right ??? I mean I get it, and if my ancestors were denied of peace I would’ve done the same. But the ancestral plane was also a major power source, and allowed some people to be brought back which is not possible anymore ever since the other side got destroyed. I don’t know I had mixed feeling about this but it also was a good way to wrap up the show, it started with ancestral magic (which is how witches found out that Haley was pregnant) and it ends along with it
Silvere Kiengele The Originals was wrapped up nicely in my opinion and didn’t leave many things unanswered. It also as you said looped Into the things brought about in season 1 where it all started with the ancestors. It also made for a nice gateway and build up to the Legacies show whilst bringing the Mikaelson saga to a beautiful close.

I think the writers and producers are tired of doing the same plot for years or something because there literally no other explanation. Legacies is a joke and if hope continues being on that school and fighting monsters alongside a Phoenix and a fairy I’m not continuing watching it
Her parents had to die so that a spin off can exist. Josh's death proved to marcel that killing only leads to more killing. Joaj was a friend to witches,werewolfs and vampires. He was the breach that brought them together.
Hope's power is devastating as it is. Dalhia said that without proper training that only sje can provide, Hope's power will one day be uncontrolable and after all her traumas i can see why she wouldnt risk it. Besides we cant jave an op character because she would do an insta kill

No, never. She never once needed to channel someone for power, instead she is the one powering lizzie and josie up and yet she can still do magic easily.
She stopped the merge and managed to bring lizzie back with ease all in one afternoon, while thinking of a plan to save josie, which also succeded.
And btw she easily took out kai and managed to trap him, sth that the entire gemini coven couldnt do without a prison world.
From what i can see her power is still unknown since she never got close to her limits, she became a really good strategic like her father and she saved everyone once again.
I swear, killing Josh is their biggest mistake. Come on! He deserved better.

The Originals: Hope is the one of the most powerful witch’s on earth.
Legacies: Actually 2 girls who have to take magic from other stuff to use their own magic is way stronger than the granddaughter of the original witch, the daughter of the original and most powerful vampire, Klaus Mikaelson. And not to mention, the 2 girls are only witches, but they are still more powerful than a witch, vampire and werewolf all in one.
Some fans: She was powerful in originals because the hollow was inside her, it wasn’t HER magic.
Other fans: No you idiot, the hallow was making her sick and weak. If she can still be very powerful when she’s dying because of black magic, she is more powerful then 2 witches who have to take magic from other magical stuff-

That show is sadly doomed. The spells are different with weird effects and it’s not as dark as the originals or even tvd. The monster plot is ridiculous plus Landon being a Phoenix and there’s now a fairy? It all sounds like a little kids show. Hope is just as powerful as the twins as well

I accept that Hope's been downgraded in Legacies, however a lot of y'all are overly overrating Hope, like she was born and immediately had whole control about her potential, in this scene it wasn't even her own power, Hope was being physically and mentally hurt by the Hollow's magic, albeit, it also heightened her magic, you can see here through the blue colour of the magic that it was Hollow's energy, not hers, that was the point, that she unleash some Hollow energy in order to not feel more affected by it, and you bigots take it as it was a feat of hers, it's not, Hope is sure powerful, but Bonnie also had massive potential but she didn't just spawn with such power, calm down.
Well the fact that she was able to control and contain the hollow so long is a huge feat itself. A part of the hollow's spirit could possess ancient vamps like it was nothing.

To elaborate, s2 dalhia warned klaus about Hope's power being devastating, even more devastating because of her trybrid nature.
After all the traumas Hope had with her being an orphan and the guilt of her parents dying for her... do u really think practicing magic at all is a good idea at all? She still hurts for her parents. If freya made birds fall from the sky because she wasnt allowed to leave the valley, what would haooen if Hope lashed out one time inside the school? Would she kill someone? Destroy the school? The entire mystic falls? She needs to keep her emotions in check which is really hard as we've seen and focus on magic on the same time while casting the spell.
Besides we cant have a show if we have one overpowered character and the originals left their clues for the reasons Hope is using too little magic.
Have u noticed that she can cast spells all the time, perhaps dozens of soells in a day and still she is not weakened at all. She never had a nosebleed or struggled with a spell. And jksie and lizzie are just using Hope's power but witches are stronger when they cast a spell together even if they are siphoners

And in order to practice Ancestral Magic, you need at least one Ancestor to be buried on New Orleans soil and their Spirit sent into the the Ancestral Plane. Neither Hope nor Freya have any Ancestor on the Ancestral Plane to draw magic from. So they can’t practice it.

The biggest challenge is watching The Originals and then going back and watching the first season of TVD, well more like the whole show, and taking any of their struggles seriously. Like compared to The Originals all their problems are daily occurrences.

For all those who are saying Hope is nerfed in Legacies, actually in this scene she is having dark magic in her that's what making her so powerful. In actuality she is just a kid, with a potential of great power nonetheless.
Love to see Hope at full power in legacies but I think they are working towards that. Itd be great to see her go full power with her entire family watching her, including her parents and uncles including Finn

No they couldn't. The spell freya used required the power of the ancestors since they made the serum. And what was said in s2 of tvd about a witch being able to kill an original was never proven

In most movies/shows people get mad because none of the main characters die. But The Originals just over did it, basically ALL of the main characters died. Like, when they made Elijah’s character agree to take all the black magic, they full on made Klaus say no, as if her mom didn’t also die like 2 episodes ago. They made her lose both her parents, her uncle, and from what I know, Kol, Davina, Rebekah and Marcel are still alive so why does it seem they all are dead? She only talks to Freya. I love Legacies and Originals but they took all the OG characters away and act like they never existed. Klaus knew if he died, she wouldn’t have any parent left because her mom JUST died, and he still said “uH yOu KnOw WhAt, If I dIe, HoPe WoNt HaVe AnY pArEnTs LeFt.. BuT iM gOnNa sTiLl DIE :)”

Hope is powerful witch, werewolf and vampire but in legacies she is a broken girl who is alone without landon. That's sad! I hope that she could show her full power sometimes at legacies....

I think the reason why Hope looks so strong here and weak on Legacies is because here she doesn't have to control herself. But on Legacies she was taught control and not to use black magic because her witch power has already been tampered with dark magic already. Alaric is trying to protect her from herself.
She was using the Hollow’s magic here, not her magic. That’s why she looked strong here.
