特別說明：同樣品種的竹林在不同的海拔高度、日照、濕度，等等不同的環境條件下，竹桿顏色不是最準確判斷竹齡的方式，例如在低海拔區的三年生桂竹顏色偏黃，但中海拔區同樣三年的桂竹就沒那麼黃，想知道確切的竹齡，還是要詢問竹林種植者會比較準確。
Special note: The color of bamboo culm is not the most accurate way to determine the age of bamboo for the same species of bamboo forest under different altitudes, sunlight, humidity, and other environmental conditions. For example, the color of three-year-old Makinoi bamboo in low-altitude areas is yellowish. However, in the mid-altitude area, the same three-year old Makinoi is not so yellow. If you want to know the exact bamboo age, it is more accurate to ask the bamboo planter.

看竹皮顏色判斷年齡是不正確的.竹林外圍長時間照太陽的竹子都會很黃.....只有密竹林內看皮色會有用處......
而竹纖維硬不硬也不全是用年齡判斷.地形也有很大關係......

謝謝您的意見。判斷竹齡最準確的方式是一出筍後就做標記，但這要管理竹林的人才做得到。這個影片的受眾是一般民眾，因此只能提供大家一個比較直觀的判斷方式。
用顏色判斷是大致判斷，雖不準但不見得是「不正確」。影片中也有提到用竹籜是否脫落來判斷。
