I certainly won't be joining his fan club anytime soon. No other figure in US history besides Hamilton has a musical about them. Not even Lincoln, - arguably the most admired person in our history. (He does have that gorgeous statue, though ) Lin Manuel was attracted to the subject precisely because he's imperfect. And Isaac dear, Lin's most recent masterpiece is about a weird recluse named Bruno who lives behind the walls of his family's Casita and plays with pet rats. Hey, I love me some Bruno Madrigal, but you wouldn't want to be immortalized that way.

I've got it. Lin Manuel Miranda should guest star as a fictionalized version of himself. He is a guest at the B&B, there to relax and perhaps do a bit of writing. Perfectly believable. Isaac will, of course, practically move heaven and earth to get MIranda to write a musical about him, and will enlist the other ghosts in this venture. Hilarity will ensue. Perhaps Isaac will even attempt to compose some of the music by humming tunes to Alberta, who will then use her ghost superpower to hum those same melodies to Miranda.
Lin gets wise to something going on in the house and demands to know what's going on and Sam tells a half trueth that the house is sort of like the Stanley where guests report a lot of ghost sightings, but she tries to keep it under raps because she thinks it's bad for business, but then it's just the inspiration Lin is looking for in his next show and asks for Sam's help learning the history of all the ghosts on the property and makes them all characters in his musical. (It's called Spirits because when Lin Pitched the musical as Ghosts, the BBC said they already had a TV show under the same name) The episode ends with the ghosts watching the live production of it on NBC and getting excited about their stories being told

I saw the BBC version first and loved it, and personally I think the American version has its own hilarious and interesting moments that the BBC version hasn't been able to explore due to how little episodes it gets each season. If you go into this constantly comparing it to the BBC version, you probably wont enjoy it as much, so you should probably go into this treating it as it's own show!

I still don't get why US media companies remake UK programs when they're already in English and would probably be cheaper just to licence them and turn a quick buck. But I think this is one exception where it could have worked if not for the fact that most of these characters are near identical to their BBC counterparts except for the Native American.
Most of these characters are actually pretty different from their UK counterparts, especially once you get past the surface level similarities (e.g. aside from being gay military men, the Captain and Isaac have very different personalities and character arcs). Anyway, CBS did air the original UK Ghosts during the writer's strike, so we can have both!
Hamilton was the worst of the founding fathers, despite being a rebel fighting for freedom he had a strong authoritarian streak, I honestly think that is why some people like him.

I prefer the U.S. series, I often like British shows but I didn't find UK Ghosts engaging for some reason.
Most of these characters are actually pretty different from their UK counterparts, especially once you get past the surface level similarities (e.g. aside from being gay military men, the Captain and Isaac have very different personalities and character arcs). Anyway, CBS did air the original UK Ghosts during the writer's strike, so we can have both!
Fun Fact: in an upcoming episode it’s confirmed that Hamilton will come to the mansion

Hamilton was the worst of the founding fathers, despite being a rebel fighting for freedom he had a strong authoritarian streak, I honestly think that is why some people like him.
