~TL Notes~ 0:27 - 回らない寿司 (mawaranai sushi/non-revolving sushi) - 回転寿司(kaitenzushi/conveyer belt sushi) is so popular that when people say they ate sushi, it's assumed that they went to kaitenzushi. When they want to say they ate at a fancy sushi bar, they'll say something like 回らないお寿司 or 回らない寿司屋. 1:25 - Raden + Obaasan - I went back and forth on RadeBa and RadeBaa and went with the latter, but looking at it now I kinda like the former. Oh well. 2:52 - TLDR; Raden is referencing a viral story of a sushi taishou suddenly popping off on a lady and she posted the story and a photo of it to twitterX. This is a reference from a couple weeks ago (as of Feb 4, 2024) where a lady posted a picture on twitter of a sushi taishou being held back by someone on staff and looking angry and explained that after she sat down, some other customer bought her some wine and the taishou put it in front of her. She explained that she had a hangover, so the sight of alcohol made her feel sick and if he could please set it away from her. Apparently the taishou didn't like that? And then she muttered as she was leaving, "I can't believe this place..." Which set the taishou off and she got a picture of him being held back. I dunno, it's a weird story with only her side. And also, that sushi place is popping off since that story came out and his been filling up reservations so lol
