This scene reminds me a lot of the scene of Joliet Union Station from ATSF mainline memories. That DVD showed a Intermodal crossing the diamond then the Southwest Chief arrived.
Hard to find video of the Southwest Chief from before the Cameron Connector opened and Amtrak rerouted it via the Mendota Subdivision to travel from Galesburg to Chicago via Princeton, Mendota and Naperville rather than via the Chillicothe Subdivision.
@jpkazarian Both the P40 and P42 (and the P32 for that matter) have the same shape, but a different number of horses. Not to mention the P40 & P32 have something the P42 doesn't. The P40 has a dead man's pedal for solo reverse operations, and the P32s have third rail shoes for entry into Grand Central.

Nice horn on the warbonnet liveried units at the beginning :)
Warbonnets on double stacks, Leslie RS3L's and phase III P42DC's... Nice!
The builder plate shown in Amtrak Auto Train I says P42DC.

What year was this? Does not look like '08. More like 1996-2000.
1994
The boxcars at the head of the Amtrak train are baggage cars.
No, they are mail cars.
The sound of the train braking is almost like music...
Is that train the southwest chief?
yes
