Thank you Stewart for comments I've just connected my awning to the unistrut aswell it worked a treat shame I can't share pictures on here but a video will follow 😁
Hi, thanks for the feedback. we do listen, and as a result, we are constantly learning what works and what doesn't. We now only use music where we have no audio or when we are showcasing what we've done. Hopefully, this is an acceptable compromise
Hey Sam, great vids, was wondering what is the thickness of the flat bar you used for mounting your panels. I got access to some 5mm ally bar but wondering if it is up to it, thinking maybe scrapping that and going for the mild steel instead, same setup as yours by the way.
I've bought plenty of unistrut for the solar. I'm attaching an awning as well, the campervan version is £300 cheaper than the dedicated Sprinter version so I'll extend the unistrut once I figure it all out.
I've just been offer a few lengths of stainless steel unistrut, it's always the case when you need stuff no one has any but when you don't need it you can have as much as you want for free
No they're are totally in the wrong position. I would say they offer around 30% of what they are capable of I need to design something better I have been playing in the garage with an idea
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife Knowing you how I do now (just binged watched your build) 🤣🤣🤣 I bet it will be a good solution. If you could hurry it along......... lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Cheers for reply

Do you find that having the solar panels flat on van gets you enough charge ? What % of max charge do you get ?
