Wow this is so beautiful and such a breath of fresh air. Black men highlighted in a positive way in a Korean mv with two amazing and talented singers.
This is the first time I've seen black people shown in such a beautiful way in a Korean MV. They even get so much screentime and simply just look beautiful with their natural hair and attire. It's clear Thama and Gsoul are showing their appreciation for black culture and how it has inspired them to this day for the kind of music they make. They're blessed to be with them and as a black man myself, seeing this fills me with nothing but joy. Shoutout to the ever-growing brotherhood between my black brothers and my Korean brothers ✊🏿 💯 Blessed to be with yall as well.
I completely agree! As a dark skinned black woman, it makes me happy to see such dark skin beautifully represented instead of shunned. Also, the variety of hairstyles shown made me happy. Now Korea has a beautiful view of what our black men look like instead of what the media tries to make them look like.
