Regarding the daughter graduating with a master's degree, I am the first woman in my family to go to college! When i was writing my thesis my grandma was in the hospital, I went to classes in the mornings and at night I would work on my thesis while taking care of her in her hospital bed, one night she woke up like at 3 am and realized that I was working and started to cry, of course i was worried! But she said that she was worried I wasn't going to be able to pass because I would be exhausted, I reassured her that I was fine, and if she got better i would show her my degree! She worked hard to get better and I passed with an A+ grade ( in chile is a 7.0 the higher grade). She told me that all the struggles that all the women in our family and everything that they had to endure culminated in this major event, me being the first woman in the family to go through college. Idk felt like I had to share but yeah. Edit: english is my second language, sorry if it sucks!!

The girl that asked questions all the time in class....there was a girl similar to that in my grade and she was teased for always asking "dumb" questions. Honestly I was always so glad when I shared a class with her cause I often had the same questions but was too scared to ask them because FOR SOME REASON everyone thought I was super smart when really I had no idea what was going on. I think it was the glasses that fooled them. I over heard her talking to a friend once about how she was teased and that it didn't bother her because several people had approached her in private and thanked her for asking questions. "I'll be the dumb blonde. It's all worth it to help people," she said. I was too nervous even then to go thank her, but I think of her almost every day. I want to find her again and tell her she's amazing.

I have good friends because whenever I need to talk to someone about something, someone in my friend group is willing to listen. When I decided to come out, none of my friends changed their opinion about me, they were listening to me explaining my sexuality, and they just listened and brushed it off like it wasn't a big thing. That really helped me because it's hard for me to trust people and I'm uncomfortable around most, so I don't really like when people make a big deal about something I tell them. Now me and my friends just kinda joke around about it, and none of them question it like I had a choice to be straight or not. I really appreciate their help with my mental problems, and their support along the way, and I hope everyone can have as good of friends as I do.
In the UK they use to have a show called Nina and the Neurons. She was a scientist at a kids science museum who helped children understand their senses and how they worked in everyday life, with the help of her neuron friends (one for each sense, they even had smell be tastes big sister). Every episode some kids would ask her a question about something they wanted to learn about, why is ice cream soft and ice lollies hard? Why do balloons float? Etc. That mixed with Abbie from NCIS and I never really saw what was strange about female scientists.
I highly doubt it. Women are attracted to all the same jobs that men are, in the same numbers, but are often pushed down because those are considered "male jobs" Which is stupid but true. Also, from what I've seen, men don't care about the sex of who they look up to nearly as much as women. I personally look up to my mom, who's a software engineer, and is the reason I wanted to get into the tech support field. Now, for some less anecdotal evidence. We are a sexually dimorphic species, so it only makes sense for men and women to have different preferences when it comes to jobs, or are you saying that there are just as many women want to work as construction workers, sanitation engineers, and plumbers as there are men that want to work in those fields? Hey Lexi I am here to tell you that, when I was just a toddler I used to work and help my mom with a shack or shop where we sell snacks, it was good, but then when my dad came back from Hawai’i making money for us we went to Hawai’i, but the Shop was closed, it’s sad but I’m still at Hawaii, enjoy my memories and here

Our friends, who we joke to be our children, being called The Flower Children{also works for Non-binary}/The Flower Sons/The Flower Daughters.

I have good friends because whenever I need to talk to someone about something, someone in my friend group is willing to listen. When I decided to come out, none of my friends changed their opinion about me, they were listening to me explaining my sexuality, and they just listened and brushed it off like it wasn't a big thing. That really helped me because it's hard for me to trust people and I'm uncomfortable around most, so I don't really like when people make a big deal about something I tell them. Now me and my friends just kinda joke around about it, and none of them question it like I had a choice to be straight or not. I really appreciate their help with my mental problems, and their support along the way, and I hope everyone can have as good of friends as I do.

In the UK they use to have a show called Nina and the Neurons. She was a scientist at a kids science museum who helped children understand their senses and how they worked in everyday life, with the help of her neuron friends (one for each sense, they even had smell be tastes big sister). Every episode some kids would ask her a question about something they wanted to learn about, why is ice cream soft and ice lollies hard? Why do balloons float? Etc. That mixed with Abbie from NCIS and I never really saw what was strange about female scientists.
I highly doubt it. Women are attracted to all the same jobs that men are, in the same numbers, but are often pushed down because those are considered "male jobs" Which is stupid but true. Any women who has succeeded in those types of careers has worked unbelievably hard to get to where they are.

@@space_in_ace I'd love to see you're evidence for that. My evidence is sadly anecdotal in that I would love to see more women working in my field (tech support). Also, from what I've seen, men don't care about the sex of who they look up to nearly as much as women. I personally look up to my mom, who's a software engineer, and is the reason I wanted to get into the tech support field. Now, for some less anecdotal evidence. We are a sexually dimorphic species, so it only makes sense for men and women to have different preferences when it comes to jobs, or are you saying that there are just as many women want to work as construction workers, sanitation engineers, and plumbers as there are men that want to work in those fields? I know sexual discrimination exists, but that's different from what you're talking about.
