Cool review. Although I wished Hot Toys followed through in releasing their 1/6th versions of David and Shaw, when they didn't I was glad to be able to get a full set of the NECA Prometheus figures.
As an option to gluing any pieces down, you can use a little museum putty or general purpose adhesive putty inside the slot/notch so the piece you want to stay in place fits firmly. DAP makes a product called 'Blue Stick' in a 1oz size that's very inexpensive. You can also use it to create small pads or points that are 'non-slip' if you're dealing with a finicky figure standing freely on its own inside a Deltof or on a shelf, or to generally add some stability to anything you're displaying (statues, busts, etc.).
A very cool review of a very cool figure with nice accessories!
Dr. Elizabeth Shaw has a good head sculpt. The hair has been sculpted quite nicely. The figure is detailed as well. The paint application is clean for the most part. However, the eyes are a bit off. They just don't have any life to them. It's not a deal breaker by any means, but rather an issue that's worth mentioning. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate it!

Strange this comes up. I've just been watching Prometheus again. And Covenant, and the Alien movies. Something about the covid stuff has me looking into these scifi super pathogen movies.

The people at Neca pegged the look of the action figure dollies face. Perfect. One of their best..Ooh la la. Why Hasbro hasn't done a good black series Jynn Erso. Ooh la la.
Loved the character of Dr Shaw and might have to grab one before the prices go up more. One NECA line that I wish I grabbed but didn’t know they existed till a few years ago was their Castlevania line. The price tags on them is insane now and I wouldn’t even consider it.
NECA really needs to reissue some of these Prometheus human/android figures as Ultimate editions with face photo realism. Really didn't care for the face paint on Shaw...

I personally do not care for Prometheus or Alien Covenant, but if they were to update those characters, I will say give out an ultimate David that can have a much cleaner head sculpt with a face print and able to switch his uniform to Covenant. I own the older figures from Prometheus, just not impress with the faces and paint applications. But nice review as always!

Not only do I really like the Alien Prequel movies but it's ba shame what Riddley Scott did with Noomi Rapace. Not only is she an amazing actress (ideal to have carry the Sigourney Weaver torch) but to not only neglect th character in Covenant but worse than that basically discard her was really shameful.
To me, the "worst" is COVENANT. Thing is that Scott wanted to take his time to explore the events prior to ALIEN. However, because of the backlash of PROMETHEUS he decided to run towards COVENANT. With that, he did make a movie closer to the Alien franchise but then botched all the ideas he had that wanted to move forward from PROMETHEUS.
...two examples: 1. Elizabeth Shaw´s character and 2. How PROMETHEUS ended letting the viewers know that the questions left in there would be answered in a sequel yet that actually never happened and what we got was a brief flshback scene in COVENANT.
Still, the ALIEN univers is so great that I want more movies (and thankfuly Disney will keep them happening). Let´s complete this PREQUEL and then make SEQUELS...yes, just like Star Wars but actually doing a good job with them.
