Not these.. Maybe the next big speaker he will attempt to make money on it. Its an odd sensation to watch a small manufacturer struggle because they don't know what their stuff is worth.
Naw dog. You say companies should be charging more primarily because you don't actually pay for them. If you really think they should charge more put YOUR money up. Don't volunteer the rest of us. Price to performance is the the very DNA of your brand. These have not been 5k speakers for years. Show some appreciation for the effort companies put into product positioning in the market. "You have to charge more.". STFU.
You talk like products can just be pushed up market without consequences. They don't exist in a vacuum. Competition for this product would be savage at 5-6K. Companies usually put quite a bit of consideration into market placement. Where customers have EASY choices sometimes a small margin per unit and selling out is vastly superior to a larger margin and ending up sitting on inventory. People want products that punch way above their weight.
These are borrowed from a customer. These are not a FREE sample. I will likely buy a set now that I have auditioned them. so. STFU. Its my job to tell it like it is.
@@ZReviewsLOL. Point is pushing manufacturers to raise prices pushes products into market segments they most likely won’t compete in. Not to mention customers have too many options to pay 5k for a product that has been selling form2k for years. It’s just bad advice. And free sample and loan is still not paying for them.
As the man whos job it is to make speaker fight in his head.. I think they would get more respect at the higher price point. People lookin' to spend $4000+ won't look at a $2000 set no matter how hard I praise them. Big spenders are weird that way. They are NOT looking for a bargain. They want to brag about their $5000 speakers. Not sit there explaining how their $2000 speakers are superior to $5000 speakers blah blah. This is something it took me years to figure out.
Thanks for the analysis! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
the BMR does not have any driver that is remotely considered high excursion. None the less, your worry is needless as any good driver's materials and build quality are the deciding factor in longevity NOT the driver's designed excursion capabilities
Things cost what they cost due to the cost it takes to make them... it's silly to think of value being anything else. A phone that will cost $1000 when they mass produce it will cost way on $300,000 to produce one sample phone... when speakers cost in the one hundred thousand mark it's due to the cost of producing only a few and not mass producing it... it very silly to request they cost more becuase any nice food you like should cost more than speakers... and you should have a mirror when speaking about one person in the room and something is missing... come back to being real Z... that's why we like you... we are lucky such good speakers do not cost a arm and a leg... we do not need to be in with the Island crowd
No one has bought wood veneer furniture since the 70's or piano black since the 80's.................. how about getting the price lower so more people can buy it I find the problem with the audiophile community is this idea that price dictates how good something can sound something like this could blow away all of these pretending brands like sound core and Beats
This speaker is one of the ones that "gets the price lower", at least for the sound you can get. so i still didnt buy the cabasse rialto. SHould i buy ThEEEESEE instead? Would be around the same price for me... I only have desktop setup with aune s17 pro and gustard r26 though. So would need to buy amp for the BMR...
Buy the Rialto
Am I mistaken or is the 6 inch ceramic driver in these the same SB Acoustics driver DMS used in that 3d printed speaker project?
It's a relatively common driver along with variants of it
9:10 Yes, I have heard of Tungsten. Mine arrived just two days ago, but they are DEFINITELY not underpriced, since the HE1000se is clearly superior to the SS Tungsten in almost every way.
😄 what amp for tungsten?
Are they holographic? 3d? ❤❤❤
yes
MoFi 888 when? 🤓
Was trying to arrange through Mimic but no beans.. No Mofi on this channel at all
I hope these speakers dont go up to $4000 after this review.
Fortunately, they've been $2000 for years! I have a pair of these from about 2016 that use the paper Scanspeak woofer, $2k even then
They WILL not.
Not these.. Maybe the next big speaker he will attempt to make money on it. Its an odd sensation to watch a small manufacturer struggle because they don't know what their stuff is worth.
@@ZReviews I think it's his choice to sell them at accessible prices. But with costs going up, something might have to change eventually
I will likely buy a set now that I have auditioned them. so. STFU. Its my job to tell it like it is.
and for the record he asked for NO DISCOUNT of any kind, I offered it out of courtesy and respect
I always worry that high excursion drivers will have a limited shelf-life.
the BMR does not have any driver that is remotely considered high excursion. None the less, your worry is needless as any good driver's materials and build quality are the deciding factor in longevity NOT the driver's designed excursion capabilities

BS -cheaper is better!
I mean it is. But don't forget to tip your Manufacturer.
Any one try to purchase them please note that there is no in home trial. Make sure that they are exactly what you want.
not true. there is a 30 day return window but you pay return shipping of course
I hate the finish. The took real beautiful wood and made it look like plastic.
It needs the sun. Direct sunlight to REALLY show through. But the shine is nice.
A lighter color or slightly thinner lacquer would sort it right out.
It looks amazing.
They make multiple finishes, including a natural wood color with no gloss finish.
No one has bought wood veneer furniture since the 70's or piano black since the 80's..................
Every contemporary kitchen & bathroom cabinet design finish available today is applicable to loudspeaker cabinets. There's just a total lack of creative audio architecture.

Does anyone know if there is any noticeable sound difference between the curved & rectangle
Sonically there are no audible difference. Pick which one you like most and the budget.
how about getting the price lower so more people can buy it I find the problem with the audiophile community is this idea that price dictates how good something can sound something like this could blow away all of these pretending brands like sound core and Beats
Only way to do that with these is to use inferior parts. That is the issue.
This speaker is one of the ones that "gets the price lower", at least for the sound you can get. You just need to be aware that their main design intent is to be good at orchestral music, utlising wide disperison. Not to say it won;t sound good with other music; many people love them. But you may prefer something else too
The money is all in the finish... Im betting cheap ass crossover components.
If you knew where Dennis from Philharmonic got his start. You would lose that bet
Dennis' claim to fame is actually crossover design and implementation. So, I doubt this is the case. They barely make money. Thats why they are so cheap.
@@leodesforges161 I guess he likes to lose money as the crossover is of superb quality. It's arguably the single most important element in a speaker and Dennis would NEVER compromise there
@@JDuque-jq4oq it's a running joke. Phils are simply an outrageous value, largely because the company refuses to take much profit. Their $380 mini monitor literally makes no money (this is from the makers themselves). Ken and Dennis and JLX are amazing guys, and their speakers are stunning. If that is their legacy, then they win.
@@leodesforges161 I agree completely. Kindly remember JLX does not work for them he is just an unpaid friend of the company lending a hand on occasion. Appreciate your kind words as I am JLX..I can confirm the profit on the TM would not buy a cheeseburger😀
