Hi there, I need help. I need to be able to set barcode scanning behaviour so that for the SHIP module in WMS express, every quantity scanned to be shipped needs to be physically scanned individually, as opposed to scan and then allow manual input of quantity. We have incorrect stock going out, so this ensure every stock shipped has been physically scanned. Urgent reply would be much appreciated, thank you!
WMS Express can support your requirement. In Business Central, if you search for Scan Behaviors, find the SALES_OUT_DOC Application Code and change "Scan Required" to "Always" which will enforce scanning the item. To enforce scanning for each individual quantity, the "Scan Quantity Behavior" can be configured to "No Dialog Increase by 1" to prevent the user from entering any quantities manually after the initial scan. After making this change, please don't forget to reload the scanner configuration so the changes take effect.
