I hope you don’t mind my inundating your videos with comments…😊
I have been telling my son to press into the opponent and snap to force the opponents hands to the mat. Generally speaking, the opponent will get his elbow because he doesn’t put his elbow high, so I say “press and snap,” and if he squares up to his feet, go for the single. And I watch Bo Nickal as he snaps, he puts his head in the hole and uses the momentum of the snap to chase his opponents hamstring and threatens a cradle to force his opponent to submit to the go behind (Nickal vs Brucki).

I'm surprised that a good coach like this is still showing to go to the waist when going behind. It doesn't work at the next level very well. You must finish by going to the ham sting or ankle.

Not true they will hip heist out.
If we short hook the far hip and they have highest we catch them in a sit out position 👍

Appreciate it. Started a folk style wrestling group in my Ju Jitsu gym, I had to brush up on the rules.

Should go inside ankle and not the hip so he doesn't have a chance to sit out

Tough to get ankle when he’s spinning & reacting imo. If he sits out. Who cares you get the 2
