They were good sports about it though. $1300 is $1300! I saw an episode of SS where the losing team was really shitty about losing. No one likes a sore loser but these ladies were anything but!
I read on the TVTropes website about a Team losing the $5,000 Grand Prize by half a second. I didn't expect to see the episode while bingeing 90s episodes via Amazon Prime. Still, Carin and Lynn ultimately made it to the Sweep despite being last to depart and over a team with 3 minutes.
I thought when they go during the big sweep that they can get things across the line or in the cart before the bell stops ringing. Why do they have to get it before the bell here? But carin grabbed the money way after the end of the bell. Team 1 shopping was pathetic
"TEN TEN AISLE TEN LYNN! AISLE TEN!!" ....."I'm right here Karen!....." "SPAM SPAM IT'S SPAM KAREN!!!" ......"I know it's Spam!....." Those two were rather annoying lmao.
I definitely remember that ending bit where they were scrambling to grab that 5 grand and all the products went everywhere lol

How come they were able to guess Purina and Neutrogena but not Kraft or Kodak?
🙆🏾♂️🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ Me: yelling at the screen KODAK!! KRAFT!! 😆
Damn it, That was heartbreaking!
I'm so sorry!
Yep. It WAS heartbreaking.
Later In The Middle Of Season 3 They Added Supermarket Sweep Logo On The Card.

Does anyone have the Sweep of Champions episode they were in? It’s the only episode of the first half of the ‘91 season I can’t find.
“MOP UP”
I watched this episode on Wednesday. I was dying.
It wasn’t that funny.
🤣🤣🤣⚰️ the host coming out with a mop like it's a hockey stick. 🤷♂️
David Ruprecht is nuts.
The 1st mini sweep David didn't say bring back the specially marked pkg. of Scotties!!
Wow that was one of the closest Big Moneys I've seen in awhile. Soooo close
H@d my earphones in and u could hear someone yell Kodak in the audience.
Sounded like a mans voice so you know it wasn't any of the other contestants.
It was a man's voice and it was before the middle girl had a chance to answer but I guess she didn't hear him
They should have escorted that man out 😂
Damn it, Karen! lol
It's Carin 🤣
