They're the last remaining silver sets (and the current oldest fleet) in the network (alongside V sets), whilst the C and S sets were retired a few years ago. It is sad to see them go as they will be replaced by OSCARs which will be transferred to suburban duties once the D sets (NIF/Mariyungs) enter service (also replacing V sets). Other older rolling stock such as the Tangaras are getting their upgrades sometime later this year (or next year) and you would see them for a while (probably until the 2030s) until they will be replaced by locally built trains.
I always thought them much more comfortable than the Tangaras.
