I've said this before on someone elses Reaction to this Ceremony but Chances are you may never understand the weight of all the years that passed after KDA's First appearance in the first song. but playing this game from its small beta phase, and seeing it come to a giant stage, filled with people watching the very best of the best compete, watching famous singers appear year after year after year. It brings a tear to my eye, from watching TSM win the NA cup every year, to underdogs like SSW, fakers back to back World cups finals, Heros like Madlife, Insec, and so many more. i'll always remember them as a small indie company wanting people to play their game.
They have really good sponsors homie (Mastercard/Mercedes Benz) so yeah, we can expect something good from them each year. Also, if you want to know more about Lucian and Senna (two of my favorite black characters) in the game, you better watch the Ruination cinematics.
From memory i think the animation was Augmented Reality, i think you could watch through your phone and see them and Baron when he came. Also i think they record around 100,000,000 people watch the world cup which is just shy of the super bowl.
- Are people seeing this in the crowd? Yes they are. The statium being full is mostly actually for the GAME itself rather than the actual artists or songs. Though the openings every year are completely insane. Always pushing AS HARD as they can to be BIGGER than last year. At least they try sometimes its more technical than you can see making it "bigger" but sometimes it feels smaller because of it.
Those weren't just animations people in the crowd actually saw them for real. They're augmented reality and could be seen through glasses that were given to the audience members if I recall correctly.

@@Risktakerjodi so first of all, yes worlds IS that big, its the biggest event of the year for league, A LOT of people show up for the event in person AND you have to think the amount of people who are watching on stream. It has been consistently getting bigger since probably 2. yes there are black characters, a few. Lucian is the one shown in the video. There are a lot of different characters of different backgrounds and a lot of them are interconnected in the lore of the game 3. there is ALWAYS hidden things in each of the videos that league releases, its always fun to go look for them. please if you have any other questions about pretty much any part of the game. ask, I will happily explain stuff!
