Wonderfully researched with great images & excellent commentary. HOWEVER the mis-pronunciation of French names is irritating enough, but their careless mis-spelling in the subtitles is quite another matter.
This is the best documentary on Vaux-le-Vicomte on TH-cam, and it deserves its thumbs up. But it grates every now and then: (1) there is no excuse for resolution-images. Unless an image is clear & sharp, don't show it. (2) we shouldn't have to hear the birth & death dates of the artists repeated every time they're mentioned. Once is enough. (3) L'Etat c'est moi. In a documentary about Louis XIV, this is one sentence the narrator should know how to pronounce. (4) must every second be filled by annoying background music? and often inappropriate background music? Let some silence in. Otherwise, and I mean this seriously, nice job.
