    Great explanation and thanks for the wonderful tip on the side inlet. I didn't know you could attach the pipe to the side inlet until I saw this video. Thanks to you, I now have an installed Maxi Paw that fits in place and evenly covers my grass!

    When I was little I had a few maxi and mini paws. Someone tossed them with some Nelson Alpha II popups and some 15111a's. I had quite a collection going.

    Just saw this, I didn't realize there was a Maxi Paw until yesterday when I saw at Home Depot. I just installed the Rain Bird LG3HE pop up sprinkler but I didn't want to have to run the hose to the box in the lawn so I bought a 50' roll of RB Swing pipe for $17 and change at HD and one female and one male barbed adapter (had to buy a brass one for the female since they didn't have any others) and ran the plastic pipe 16 feet in a trench to a location by the hose bib for the box with the click & go hose attachment.

    Hey you do realize that there is a diffuser screw that you can use to reduce your distance?

    Thanks. First time working with/replacing a Maxi-Paw. I needed to see how the side connection is done. Time to dig a bigger hole.

    If you want to decrease the spray distance while the maxi paw is on, you should let the trip lever keep on making the clip motion and then do it, I did that.

    Hey Sam I love ur sprinkler videos, and how long did it take to dig up the sprinkler. It takes us like 40min to dig up a impact. Please notice me.

    I really like Maxi-Paw sprinklers. Sadly, in my city , gardeners are replacing them with Hunter or Rainbird 5000 😔. I don't know why.

    How many of these maxi paw sprinklers do you have per valve/ zone? And would you recommend this for a big yard? This would same me from installing 100 sprinklers lol

    It’s dead in many spots man. A shame you reduce to only half inch to feed the maxipaw. I use 3/4 inch for my setup. But thanks for the video.

    What is the funny pipe? Is it just a garden hose ?

    • @DaSamNudge
      @DaSamNudge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s also referred to as swing pipe, basically just a flexible piping that makes it easier to move a sprinkler a few feet

    • @indiana20007
      @indiana20007 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DaSamNudge do you think a guy could just run everything with this funny pipe?

    • @DaSamNudge
      @DaSamNudge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@indiana20007 you could, the car wash I revamped the sprinkler system at has it plumbed that way but it’s more reliable to just use PVC
