If you look closely on the eyes of Shelly, the color is different than Tisha’s eyes. The different eye color probably means that Shelly is slowly being into a twisted and it goes for all of the other toons. And yes. At the end, this theory might be right.

I genuinely feel shelly might be one of if not the best written character in dandy’s, cause she feels so real, someone that just wants to be around people and enjoy herself, but feels forgotten and ignored, as if what she does isn’t enough, it really pulls the strings of out emotional hearts, because we’ve all been in her position at one point or another, and I wish she could prevail over those negative thoughts, but as you said, we can’t always have a happy ending.
