Camden is first alternate. Jason Brown was named to the team under "Return to Competition Protocol," same for Levito. They'll have to show that they're ready after their injuries/skate problems.
That's right, Ilia. Never give up and always move forward. There’s a lot of risk, but risk has become a part of your skating style. You also need something to challenge yourself, and the mistakes help keep you grounded, preventing a superstar complex. The idea of all six quads in one program is brilliant, and a loop would be great to see, although a 4Lo is much more difficult than a 3Lo. BUT it would be really nice if you stayed alive till Milan, so we wouldn’t waste money on the tickets. :) OK, after Milan too. Love you.
I always loved Camden’s style and artistry. Remember watching him in juniors!! So happy he’s going to Worlds! Congrats to all three phenomenal skaters!!! Let’s GO USA🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@ArohaStillEvery time someone compliments another skater, someone has to come talk about how Jason is better. This is so bogus it’s not even funny. Jason was not & is not. He’s over too. This is where we are.
Илье нужно вернуть первый костюм к Короткой программе,худи очень хорошо выражает композицию и смотрится прекрасно.К Произвольной программе Илья верни рубашку с красными пятнами,можно без жилета.Илье идут свободные шелковые рубашки!
This is nothing new. There were a lot of immigrants from the Soviet Union to the US, including figure skaters. It is no surprise that their kids are involved in the sport. :)
Definitely. It's turning into a "kitchen sink" sort of LP where they're throwing in all kinds of things whether they work together or not. He should definitely take the back flip out, not only because it's shaky-scary but also because it gets no points. Why waste valuable energy on a no-point element? I'd also recommend taking out the raspberry twist and the quad loop. Ilia doesn't need seven quads to win Worlds.
@@L1623VPdon’t agree with that take at all. “why take out valuable energy” well it’s almost the end of the program and he’s perfected everything that follows that so there’s no reason not to keep it in it fits perfectly with the music and the only reason it wasn’t clean was bc he was going for a one foot landing opposed to two. there’s a reason they train nonstop and that hard work showed today. look at his last attempt at this same exact program to this one and see how improved it is. now imagine 2 months from now at worlds. he could definitely perfect it and why not try. he knows he can win regardless so he’s trying to push himself to his limits which is what we should appreciate the most. this guys won by 47 points today he didn’t have to do half his jumps to walk out w a victory😂 it’d be boring to not try and show your full capabilities.
@@dylantodrank I think it's unnecessary. It's a non-required, zero-point element that he could end up getting injured doing in training simply because he's going for the one-foot landing. I say dump it. It's not worth the risk. I also think Ilia is trying to "hot dog" it a bit too much by putting in too many "cool" non-required elements. The less complicated and clean his program can be, the better.
6:55 bro landing a backflip on one foot being a side quest is crazy 😭🙏
I love how friendly they are. They seem to like each other .
« M’y hip is already like broken , don’t drop me on my tailbone » 😭 this one had me crying 😭
The photo op is very cute. Congrats to Ilia, Andrew and Camden. Best of luck at upcoming World.
So adorable
camden isnt going 😥 but Jason is!!!!

All three performances made me cry. Men's ice skating is blowing up!

Camden has the best posture in men’s Skating!
So agree he is awesome

I love Camden, I just wish he wasn't so inconsistent
Jason does but his is a close 2nd. He is a beautiful skater too. Always one of my favourites.

I was hoping Jimmy Ma would be on the podium. He deserved it. Maybe next year.
He deserved it? He made a lot of mistakes. He seems to have trouble skating 2 clean programs in one competition.
The men's team for Worlds is Malinin, Torgachev and Jason Brown (given he's in reasonable shape). I assume Camden is first alternate.
I won't say too much about andrew going sleeveless
He’s hot

Perhaps
so what does the chinese lettering say?
It's japanese and it says four and a half rotations... because there are 4 and 1/2 rotations in the Quad Axel.
@@lilly8639. Chinese characters but written grammatically in Japanese.
Anyone else think Andrew looks a lot like Evan Lysacek or is it just me?
I’ve always thought he looks like a young Alexei Yagudin and I was wondering if THAT was just me lol
Yes, minus Evan’s fake orange tan.
He looks more like Yagudin.

AGREE malinin needs to take out the quad loop and the back flip to skate clean

And now theyre all dead. Sad
Andrew deserves a world of credit. Way to go!
ilia's showed some personality :P when been questioned about "giving up backflip"
