The compass is pointing south again
Now the cold is coming through
And the last brown leave, tries to cling on to the tree
and to his youth
The world around is changing
while nature takes his course
We seem to lose ourselves in ways , nowadays
like we never have before

We keep on doing what we do, spread those old clichés

I stopped and sighed, as they flew by
Those sixteen birds, fly over sea
Their future is unknown
Wherever they may be
The silent souls are gonna go
but they will always find the way back home

But your blinded by the sun
Don't hang on to your yesterday's
find the strength to carry on
