  • The wait is over! Here is our first impression on/offroad drive on the NEXT Gen Ford Everest. Finally, after almost 20 years after it's first launch of the first generation Everest, Ford revealed it's present mid-sized SUV for the Asia-pacific market with the true Next Gen 2023 Everest. Yes the wait is over, but what are the main differences exactly? This video would answer your questions on how it performs onroad, offroad, and how it performs with the retuned engine? To our surprise it was an awesome upgrade to the previous gen Everest with both the looks and it's overall performance.
    Massive shoutout to Ford Thailand for hosting this awesome event to try out the next gen Everest. As far as we are concern a further detailed review of the Everest as well as the Next Gen Ranger Wildtrak is coming up, so please subscribe to see our updates and further videos!

    Great video 👍 You did a fantastic job about the differences between Thailand and Australia but yo demonstrated the real DNA of the vehicle. You showed the colour that I would want to buy.

      Thank you mate! In person the Sedona Orange is really eye catchy, looks even better than the photos. Just right in the middle between orange and red, depending on which angle you look at it. Let me know when you get hands on it. Cheers mate!

    the 4A mode is only available in the platinum trim (the V6 one). the base, sport, and titanium trims don't have the 4A mode. so that's probably the Australian version you were referring to. and yeah the platinum isn't available in some SEA countries.

    Great to see the review done in English for a car based in Thailand.
    How is the service by FORD in Thailand? Reliable or not?

    • @caromelette6325
      @caromelette6325  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your support. Currently, Ford Thailand service is getting better. Also the quality of the car itself is getting better. I saw less issues with the newer cars but I still don’t think it’s as reliable as other brands in the industry.

    Great video. We live in Western Australia. Looking like getting the Platinum. What are your thoughts on bullbars for it. I hear ARB are teaming up with ford for an off road package. Looks like I’ll be very happy with this car.

      Much appreciated mate!!! To be honest I have never once see someone regretting on an ARB bar. I myself have one on my 80 series Landcruiser for about 20+ years and it had never let me down to this day as the build quality is just top notch, so tough yet look so good. A friend of mine who drives a 3.2 Everest also has an ARB bar and the only downside from it is the weight. But he doesn't mind much as he already has a 33" mud Coopers, Alucab RTT, a winch, 2" lift and about 400kg constant weight on his camping setup. But on the 2.0 Biturbo weight might really be a big deal as the engine is a bit small, fuel may really get affected. But in my opinion, if you gonna drive a lot in WA if you hit a roo once then the bar probably already pays for itself. I also have seen the new ARB bar on the Ranger and man it looks goooodddddd. Not sure how it would look on the Everest but I'm pretty sure ARB would do a great job on it. Looks like you really are going to be happy with this car, ride safe and let me know how it goes when you finally get to drive it. Cheers mate!

    How does the sport compare to the titanium in your opinion?

    • @caromelette6325
      @caromelette6325  ปีที่แล้ว

      In my opinion, the Titanium+ has the best value. As in Thailand, the Sport model Everest, including the 2018 model onwards only has 4x2 available. No option for an Everest Sport with 4x4. So if we talk specs, the Titanium plus is much better value here so most people would pay more to get the Titanium which makes a lot of sense.
      I myself hasn't had the chance to try out the next gen Everest Sport yet but however, not only that it comes with a single turbo 2.0 engine, it even comes with the older 6R80 transmission which is a 6 speed that came with the 2.2 and 3.2. To be honest it really is a bummer. I tho have tried out the 2021 Everest Sport which is not so bad considering it has the 10 speed, but it was slow as heck. Ford downgrading to the old 6 speed in my opinion is just silly. But talking performance wise, yes the 6 speed may be a stronger transmission overall if you opt for much more power than stock, but using older transmission on a so called "Next-Gen" Ranger/Everest imo is a no go from me. It is more like you either pay for the Titanium or cheap out and get a terrible deal with out the fancy safety tech and sunroof.

    is ur everest had some issues?

    • @caromelette6325
      @caromelette6325  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not too much issue I suppose as it's a 3.2, the only worry was the torque converter studs which I got it rewelded by a shop near Bangkok. But from what I know the first gen 2.0 Everest got a ton of issue, people were so mad as so many are broken down in Thailand as well as overseas in Australia. I'm hoping they really do fixed up all the problems with it. Time will tell.

      @@caromelette6325 this latest model do u think it has still transmission problems?

    • @caromelette6325
      @caromelette6325  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kooob81 The early biturbo 10 speed transmission had the same torque converter issue as the previous gen. But after 2019 onwards they fixed the issue so dont worry. Also with the next gen Everest I was told they replaced the torque converter from the previous 10 speed so I don’t think there will be any dramas with the new setup.
