Malta is a place worth visiting. I stayed there for 3 months through an internship program and those were the best 3 months of my life so far. It has many beautiful places to visit, the people are warm, helpful...
bad lyrics thats y...the word taboo doesn't soung good in a song which is from the pop genre atleast. if it was a rap song then it would have been something lol. and some other poor lyrics. but there are some overrated song with worse lyrics. as stated here the sound also doesn't mash
Guys, thank you for all your support for Serbia in the comments, it is nice to see! We will do well, there is possibility, because it is the song that is better for stage and live, not for listening in radio, Danica's voice is amazing and could give goosebumps, and song is unique, and original, one of the few songs that actually represents its country.
Serbia is a special song. At least it's different! I'm sick and tired of shallow, vapid songs, sung by pretty girls with pretty breasts. The only thing they're selling is their bodies.
lovemusicmusa sorry but Danica ruined the song. Her wailing is unbearable which is why it’s unpopular. It’s distracting and unpleasant to listen to. They should have got rid of her and the song would have done much better
course you can not understand the song from Serbia, because it is unique, that we sent a song that is a copy of the songs that we can listen to every day on the radio and youtube that would be ok. We apologize or give priority to originality, unusual, not copy-paste songs. This is a group that is just dealing with fusion in music, experimenting, having a tour around the world and popularizing Balkan music do not hate you, why should I?Just do not ask us to be plagiarists and who cares who will win, because for 20 years there are no real winners,
јелена ковачевић Well, who cares about winning, when cheap stupid and annoying chicken song is main favorite for win this year. Trashfest=trashwinner, like always in the recent years. Sta nas briga sta misle drugi, mi smo bar ponosni sto smo jedinstveni, pa i da ne prodjemo u finale, dovoljno smo dobri. 😊
јелена ковачевић Hvala ti! 😊 Nema na cemu, uz nase smo u maju i navijamo, realno, drugo polufinale je toliko slabo da imamo dobre sanse da prodjemo, nebitno je sto ovi ne razumeju, neka ostanu u soku kad prodjemo. 👍👌 Srecan i tebi Uskrs! 😊
Norway 's singer already won eurovision so I guess that's why people voted for him again. But I must say it's such a bad song that if I had won before, I would never return with something so weak... He has a nice face, a good guy's face but that doesn't always work like it did the other time. For me he is the weakest.
Malta is my second and I love it, but I respect your opinion. Iceland is meh, one high note won't save him (my 37th), San Marino is as well not one of my favorites (42nd) song is just bland and rap part is absolutely unnecessary. Serbia just tried too hard to put modern beat with traditional flavours and it didn't turned out as planned (36th) and Norway hahhaha well... he will do good because it is him, but the song is a pure joke and I can't enjoy in it even if I want to (39th), but Alexander is cute! If you want to see my all opinions in few words, take a look at my top 43!
I like Iceland's song, we need some nostalgic sound in this year of diversity, just to remember where we come from in eurovision, also his voice and the backing singers save the song for me And I also like Serbia ;( Norway is all about his performance, the song is only message
I agree with Iceland and Ari Olavsson and I've told him he needs to find his way he is So talented Singer and I hope to see Ari as representative of Iceland again with better song. With Serbia and Norway I disagree with you. What is in wrong go after your dreams, what Alexander tells you to do?
Serbia in bottom five??????!!!!! Not all songs have to be immediatly catchy!! In fact, the greatest albuns ever made in the history of modern music, practically all of them didn't have a fantastic 10 seconds start! "The dark side of the moon" by Pink Floyd is one great example! I agree with the rest, though... Peace and love :)
First thing I did was looking if any of my favorites where in there, cause I didn't think it would have been constructive to listen to someone who has a complete different opinion. But I do agree with you.
You appear to be a good judge -- three of your bottom five didn't make it to the Grand Finale, but where I disagree with you is Serbia and Norway. I thought both were quite good, but it's good that we all have our own tastes. Interesting to hear your comments and I enjoyed your video.
My bottom 5: 5. Montenegro 4. San Marino 3. Moldova 2. Israel 1. Russia Top 5: 5. Albania 4. Poland 3. Georgia (I actually loved it) 2. Estonia 1. Hungary
I agree with almost everything you said :) Although I’m aware that Alexander Rybak’s song is very childish and repeating I still find myself digging it a little. My bottom 5 would probably be: (from worst to the least worst) 1. San Marino 2. Serbia 3. Moldova 4. Iceland 5. Russia
I never like to see the songs beforehand, I like to wait until the semifinals to hear the song for the first time, apart from our own entry obviously which there is just no escaping.
I don't understand why San Marino gets so much negative response every year. This ain't a bad song, it's catchy and the rap ain't bad either. I normally not a fan of rap in Eurovision, but I think it suits well in this song.
My bottom 5: 43. Sweden I never understood hype for Sweden. His voice is way too high and annyoing . The composition seems like electronic version of "Clap clap" tune for people to clap along. 42. San Marino Agree with everything you said. 41. Poland This just taste like a food i prepared last summer, forgot about and now trying to eat just now. It tasted good originally but is too dated right now. Literally, 2005 summer tune... Why? And vocals are not the best either. 40. Cyprus Maybe it's just me but this sounds more like a meme to me than the actual track. "Ayeyeyeyeye" part with her voice just cracks me up every time. 39. Australia Jessica is great but the track is just boring, lazy, cheesy and fits more for JESC than actual ESC. Basically same as Poland, but i kept it higher because she actually can hit the notes.
My bottom 5 are Georgia, Russia, Poland, Iceland and Montenegro. Norway is a close 6th last tho. I had Russia and Poland a little higher in my list, but the live performances ruined them for me
I like Serbia 😊 I know is not very popular but I don't think is that bad. For Norway, I thought exactly the same....a PeacePeace LoveLove gone bad. He will pass anyways.
What you call ‘wailing’ is actually called singing. None of this recital that you hear in your typical pop songs. You should probably learn what is classified singing in other countries before you judge them.
My bottom 5: San Marino- it's just strange Iceland- really like the singer but the song seems bland Georgia- make me feel like I'm in church Estonia- I like opera but this without the dress would be just simple opera song Norway - is actually annoying as I really like Ryback. But this song.... OMG (lyrics)
I like your comments, especially the Norwegian entry - 1st time I thought it was 'nice', and then it hit me: the lyrics are an insult. When you have a decent song, you respect yourself and your audience
Malta: sorta agree ; caricature of a pop song ; the message is made up and non-discernible from the lyrics for me Iceland : bad choice ; too old ; like worse than Portugal last year San Marino : the rap part is drab but jessika's part saves the song for me and takes it out of bottom 10 Serbia: this is far away from my bottom; I like the instrumental yeah the first minute is bad Norway: hate that Norway chose this over 9 better options in their NF!! How and why??
That one minute of the song is the old sounds in serbian history and is the best part in the song for me when that is ended song became completely garbage
My bottom 5 will be interesting and controversial, but these songs in my opinion are the worst this year. (I'm sorry for my English) 39.AZERBAIJAN - They said that she will sing a jazz song in Azerbaijani and they ended with another generic pop crap. Definitely, Aisel is better than the song. 40.AUSTRALIA - Fantastic singer, nice song, but i can't put high on my list. Australia's worst attempt to date. 41.FINLAND - I felt relieved when i found that Saara Aalto will represent Finland this year and i had a high hopes for her, but after i heard her 3 songs she performed in UMK my hopes slowly died. Bad song, bad lyric, her voice wasn't good in National Final.... Dear, Saara Aalto your thousands of times better than this. As much as i love her, i'm not too fond on her participation this year. 42.ESTONIA - The biggest fanwank this year. This isn't an opera song, but a pop song sung with opera voice. I have feelings that she didn't liked the song, but she was forced to sing it. Her voice is unbelieveable, but her song is crap. It will be "Verona" part.2 (MARK MY WORDS) 43.MOLDOVA - This song would have had success if it was 2005, but for 2018 it would surprise if they got more than 20pts in Semi Final. Bad oldfashioned song with ridicolous lyric. Moldova what have you done after your amazing song and 3rd place last year? :(
I'm super enthusiastic about Malta myself, but with the others -I have others way lower like Russia, NL, Hungary and Ukraine- none of the 4 mentioned here are bound to go down as Eurovision classics and I wouldn't have missed them if they weren't in ESC.
I understand that this is his opinion and he has every right to say what he thinks but I just can't help but to feel mad. He doesn't actually give any solid reasons as to why it's not good for him. Serbia is one of the countries that actually represented their homeland the way everyone should and also, it's in their native language! The beginning of the song can't be likable to everyone, but that's a different culture! Try to respect it instead of implying that it's silly. And Norway.....I get it, it sounds immature but it has a deeper meaning than the actual words taken literally. Just like Netta's toy is about bullying.
I do not agree with your opinion on Rybak. If you had researched a bit you would have known that Rybak wrote "That's How You Write A Song" specifically as a show/stage song. You said you liked the performance and Rybak is undeniably an incredible live performer - so there you have it. Norway's entry is not a song most people will put in their music playlists, but once he gets to perform the song on the Eurovision stage there is no denying he will go very far! But sure... if the song is the only thing you're judging then yeah - it is not "Fairytale", a stereotypical Eurovision song or a cool pop song we hear on the radio every day.
You are way off concerning Norway. The song is very catchy and there is a reason why it's rated high amongst bookies. It's maybe not very deep but it's playful and enjoyable. Perfect for eurovision. You think Israels lyrics is serious. Quack quack? 😜😜
Well, it's my personal opinion and not a prediction or popularity poll :). I just don't like it. But as I said, it's nothing against Alexander who just oozes personality. We have to wait and see.
I don't really have a bottom top 5 bu here it is anyway Bottom 5 1.Sweden. uhh it's just another one of those pop songs that you hear on the radio every single minute. 2. Georgia. Sorry i jut don't understand 3. Lithuania. Cute but boring 4. Armenia. No thanks, not my type of music 5. Albania. Same as Armenia^^ Top 5 5. Iceland. Oof shocking right? 4. Moldova. The stage performance was hilarious and a catchy song. 3. Ukraine. Hot, literally hot. 2. Belarus. When i first heard this i didn't like it, but boi i was wrong. 1. Hungary. Oh yes metal and a good message.
I have to agree with you on some of the entries, but do think that the serbian entry is quite charming. My bottom five: 43. Iceland (old fashioned, but not in a good way) 42. Malta (a combination of out to date and over the top) 41. Moldova (the group is so much better than the song) 40. Romania (promising start, but nothing happens) 39. Switzerland (not really that bad, but kind of unpleasant)
My bottom three; 43: Portugal--- Is this even a song? It is so boring, bad, and the snapping is the final nail in the coffin 42: France--- Boring, repetitive, over rated 41: Hungary-- Just really don't like hard rock 40: San Marino-- Its fine until the rap part, i agree with you 41: Slovenia-- Its fine until the rap, or whatever its supposed to be
By the way, my bottom 5 (no alphabetic order:): Iceland, Ireland, Malta, San Marino, Cyprus (is it just me, or the girl from Cyprus is copying/pasting an old Beyoncé video?
My least favourite are (in no particular order): San Marino Iceland Sweden (seriously, what is that? A Wham parody?) Norway (I totally agree with your analysis of this. Also, is Alexander Rybak secretly a robot? He looks exactly like he did in 2009 ... not a bad thing ... just creepy) Macedonia
Spain is my guilty pleasure this year Im afraid. Not on my 5 top bottom list. 5. Norway 4. Norway 3. Norway 2. Norway 1. Norway Most overrated: Estonia and Israel Most underrated: Latvia and F.Y.R Macedonia Most expected: England of course (always mediocre because UK are not allowed to send good contributions) Most "(pseudo) profound" song-Italy again Most Justin Bieber song: Sweden again Most Lana del Rey song: Belgium again
My bottom five are: 39. Sweden - Benjamin himself is really charismatic from an interview I've seen but I just don't like the song. It goes nowhere and sounds very 80's (funnily enough he did cite artists such as George Michael as his inspirations) which, whilst being my favourite musical decade, does mean it's badly dated. It's not a bad song but when I compare it to others, it just doesn't sit well with me. Not to mention the performance was cringey. 40. San Marino - Actually the song is decently catchy and the rap is one of my favourite parts of the song, apart from the chorus. Their vocals need a lot of work though as in it's current state, I find myself not listening to the track because of the poor live vocals. 41. Azerbaijan - Generic. Next. 42. Norway - I don't enjoy listening to this song and Norway is the only country for which I could say that for. It feels much longer than 3 minutes and the whole instrumentation is childish. Fairytale was infantile and goofy but that worked because so was he! But here I feel like he's playing a character and it just feels ingenuine. Hope this doesn't do as well as people say it well. 43. Iceland - I feel really bad for putting this here because I follow Ari on instagram and he is so adorable and genuine and I wish him all the best for the future. But the song is too cheesy and it's climax lasts a minute! It isn't bad, per say, but it doesn't have any redeeming qualities apart from his vocals but even then that lands him in last place for me. But like I said, this isn't a bad song, it's just in a very tough year.
I listen to a lot of 80s music and nowhere along the way have I stopped and thought Sweden's entry sounded 80s. If anything it reminds me of Justin Bieber...
Well, 80's music is along my favorite music, and for me Sweden is better than other generic songs this year because it has MODERN plus 80'S VIBES, it is somewhat unique, because of that, I understand that people don't like it, but it is far from bad, it is quality and well produced song, people are overreacting. To say that Sweden is worse than cheap Moldova, Romania, and some others, is really nonsense
Serbia, Malta and Finland in bottom 5? no offence but sounds like a weird choice :/ especially when I have been promoted to hear all songs to compare!...:)...if old fashion and noise is anything to go by with then that might cover 80% of this years entries...but?
As for Georgia, it is a beautiful song but it is not an Eurovision song. On one thing I agree with you, ESCunified: Eurovision songs need to be catchy. That doesn't mean that they are bad, they're just simply in the wrong song contest... :)
I fully agree. All of these songs are also in my bottom 6 - one song, you don't have on Your list is my absolute bottom: Estonia. I am a fan of opera and classical music in general. But this song is neither opera nor classical music. There isn't even a memorizable meldody and just because the singer has a trained voice doesn't make it a sophisticated song. And the lyrics: meaningless phrases. Only the dress leaves an impact, but not in a positive way. Since 2014, the "Starwater Show" on the Cruise Ship "Quantum of the Seas" uses a similar dress. That is not necessarily a quality feature...
My bottom 5: 5. Romania 4. Norway 3. Montenegro 2. Slovenia 1. Iceland My top 5: 5. Serbia 4. Estonia 3. FYR Macedonia 2. UK (yes I love it shock horror) 1. Sweden
Yessss Sweden is my winner and the U.K. is my country!! I also love storm (I’m probably biased tho, the U.K. have been in my top ten since 2014 (yes even 2015 XD))
I agree for Iceland and Serbia not so hot. Norway and Malta perhaps will get into the final but near bottom. San Marino hhhhmmm I think it's catchy, but everyone writes San Marino off too quickly. I don't fancy Albania, Hungary, Ireland,, Sweden (oh god! What happened this year!), that Echo one is annoying and Funny girl. The UK one sounds like 'Soldiers of Love' but catchy tune. Thanks for your bottom 5 - love from an Irish girl in Australia 😘
There are 2 songs that I can't respect this year. One is Czech Republic, and the other is Norway. At first I couldn't understand why Rybak had the necessity of participate in eurovision again when he already won. But well, since he had the right and the audience vote for him, I let it pass. But then I read the lyrics, I saw the performance and... well, that was a bad joke. A really really bad joke. And when I saw some people's Top10, in which they included Norway at the same level as (to me) other songs with a better quality... I get angry. He will qualify but mostly because of who is him, than the song itself. (Sorry for my english, tried to write it all well)
You're right about Belarus (although the song is good). His live vocals are awful. Same for Alfred (Spain). I like San Marino's entry (in my top 15 actually).
I LOVE Norway song, I’m sorry 😅it’s fine if you don’t like the song. Some do and some don’t, but this song is a top ten for me❤️
I just don't get the hate towards Serbia. For me it is an amazing mix between traditional and modern.
Yellow Forest i agree. I love Serbia this year! So nice!
I love the way you described Iceland a Ireland 1991 rejection 😂😂
Malta is a place worth visiting. I stayed there for 3 months through an internship program and those were the best 3 months of my life so far. It has many beautiful places to visit, the people are warm, helpful...
Malta is so beautiful. I don't understand, why people don't like it
Because it's another bad and forgotten song from G:Son's drawer.
bad lyrics thats y...the word taboo doesn't soung good in a song which is from the pop genre atleast. if it was a rap song then it would have been something lol. and some other poor lyrics. but there are some overrated song with worse lyrics. as stated here the sound also doesn't mash
Exactly ❤️
Heard the same too many times nothing new.
Malta...is original? I ask that because I remember I've heard this song before.
Guys, thank you for all your support for Serbia in the comments, it is nice to see! My personal bottom three this year are Iceland, Romania and Malta. My top three are Austria, Denmark and Hungary.
Agree with you, but I love Serbia!! I wish big Final for Serbia!
Anna Bagirova i too! Serbia is this year so good!!!! Love it!
How could you put serbia. They are meybe not popular but it is one of best vocals of the year and people will like it live
Norway 's singer already won eurovision so I guess that's why people voted for him again.
But I must say it's such a bad song that if I had won before, I would never return with something so weak...
He has a nice face, a good guy's face but that doesn't always work like it did the other time.
For me he is the weakest.

I agree with everything you said. Every single word.
I disagree with Malta, but agree with the others, especially with Norway
Couldn't agree more with your comments.
First thing I did was looking if any of my favorites where in there, cause I didn't think it would have been constructive to listen to someone who has a complete different opinion.
But I do agree with you.
JUSTICE FOR ALEXANDER!!

San Marino's rap was originally for Irol, but he decided to pull out of it.
My bottom 5 are Georgia, Russia, Poland, Iceland and Montenegro. Norway is a close 6th last tho. I had Russia and Poland a little higher in my list, but the live performances ruined them for me
The song from San Marino is a copy of Lost Frequencies- St.Peter.
My bottom 5 would be The Czech Republic, Israel, Norway, Portugal & San Marino
Totally agree ...
My bottom 5 -
43 - San Marino
42 - Spain
41 - Geogia

How can you hate Serbia 🤬🤯😡
I like Serbia 😊 I know is not very popular but I don't think is that bad. For Norway, I thought exactly the same....a PeacePeace LoveLove gone bad. He will pass anyways.

And its an important message for people dealing with GAD

Serbia is amazing
My bottom 5:
San Marino- it's just strange
Iceland- really like the singer but the song seems bland
Georgia- make me feel like I'm in church
Estonia- I like opera but this without the dress would be just simple opera song

I like your comments, especially the Norwegian entry - 1st time I thought it was 'nice', and then it hit me: the lyrics are an insult. When you have a decent song, you respect yourself and your audience
Thank you and agreed!!!!!
Malta: sorta agree ; caricature of a pop song ; the message is made up and non-discernible from the lyrics for me
Iceland : bad choice ; too old ; like worse than Portugal last year
San Marino : the rap part is drab but jessika's part saves the song for me and takes it out of bottom 10
Serbia: this is far away from my bottom; I like the instrumental yeah the first minute is bad
Norway: hate that Norway chose this over 9 better options in their NF!! How and why??
OMG I LOVE NORWAY THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😭😭😭😭
That one minute of the song is the old sounds in serbian history and is the best part in the song for me when that is ended song became completely garbage

There are other bottom 5, too. I guess Norway cannot go to the bottom 5 but goes to top 10.
I really like Maltas entry.. very cool
My bottom 5 will be interesting and controversial, but these songs in my opinion are the worst this year.

42.ESTONIA - The biggest fanwank this year. This isn't an opera song, but a pop song sung with opera voice. I have feelings that she didn't liked the song, but she was forced to sing it. Her voice is unbelieveable, but her song is crap. It will be "Verona" part.2 (MARK MY WORDS)
43.MOLDOVA - This song would have had success if it was 2005, but for 2018 it would surprise if they got more than 20pts in Semi Final.
You're right: You just don't get it!
Malta the nice one
Malta is not a little island nation! Its a country!
My bottom 5 in random order: Israel, Slovenia, Armenia, Iceland, Hungary
lol Malta is my 6th
Norway is my 20th
Serbia is my 8th
San Marino is my 4th
Mateja Purple Panda Thanks for 20th, that makes him a finalist on your list as well! :-)
Yesss San Marino is so underrated!!
I don't really have a bottom top 5 bu here it is anyway
Bottom 5
1.Sweden. uhh it's just another one of those pop songs that you hear on the radio every single minute.
2. Georgia. Sorry i jut don't understand
3. Lithuania. Cute but boring
4. Armenia. No thanks, not my type of music
5. Albania. Same as Armenia^^
Top 5
5. Iceland. Oof shocking right?
4. Moldova. The stage performance was hilarious and a catchy song.
3. Ukraine. Hot, literally hot.
2. Belarus. When i first heard this i didn't like it, but boi i was wrong.
1. Hungary. Oh yes metal and a good message.
Really like this vedio i can't really understand Malta being so low as the meaning behind the song is so strong (the message is about mental health)
I totally agree
I was so pissed when Alexander was chosen to represent my country again 😤
How come that the artists I vote for never win 😭
I have to agree with you on some of the entries, but do think that the serbian entry is quite charming.
My bottom five:
43. Iceland (old fashioned, but not in a good way)
42. Malta (a combination of out to date and over the top)
41. Moldova (the group is so much better than the song)
40. Romania (promising start, but nothing happens)
39. Switzerland (not really that bad, but kind of unpleasant)
My bottom three;
43: Portugal--- Is this even a song? It is so boring, bad, and the snapping is the final nail in the coffin
42: France--- Boring, repetitive, over rated
41: Hungary-- Just really don't like hard rock
40: San Marino-- Its fine until the rap part, i agree with you
41: Slovenia-- Its fine until the rap, or whatever its supposed to be
Iceland is 1993... Belgium is 1975!
By the way, my bottom 5 (no alphabetic order:): Iceland, Ireland, Malta, San Marino, Cyprus (is it just me, or the girl from Cyprus is copying/pasting an old Beyoncé video?
It's like A. Rybak making a mock himself. I'm worried about him.
Totally agree with Norway. It seems phoned in and boring. Sorry Norway, it’s a nil-points from me.
I like san marino……..
just dont like the rap
My least favourite are (in no particular order):
San Marino
Iceland
Sweden (seriously, what is that? A Wham parody?)
Norway (I totally agree with your analysis of this. Also, is Alexander Rybak secretly a robot? He looks exactly like he did in 2009 ... not a bad thing ... just creepy)
Macedonia
My bottom 5:
39. Romania
40. Armenia
41. San Marino
42. Georgia
43. Norway
I agree on all (especially Armenia) but i love Romania. But everyone has diferent likes.👍
Agree, we may have some different opinions about songs and music, but that's the magic of Eurovision ;)
This year Albania stole my heart!
You forgot SPAIN... It's AWFUL. Very annoying.
Hey, they were basically forced to go with a song they didn't choose, now they are trying to enjoy, don't be so harsh ;(
Don't worry, he didn't forget Spain. Look his Top10 video.
Spain is my guilty pleasure this year Im afraid. Not on my 5 top bottom list.
5. Norway 4. Norway 3. Norway 2. Norway 1. Norway
Most overrated: Estonia and Israel
Most underrated: Latvia and F.Y.R Macedonia
Most expected: England of course (always mediocre because UK are not allowed to send good contributions)
Most "(pseudo) profound" song-Italy again
Most Justin Bieber song: Sweden again
Most Lana del Rey song: Belgium again
Correct about Norway
Not trying to hate but it's a little hypocritical to critique Norway's weird lyrics but then say that Israel's chicken noises are fine.
My bottom five are:
Thanks. Sweden is pretty far down on my list as well so we are pretty close.
It's not bad but I just don't like this style of music. That being said, Moldova and Romania are also among my bottom 10 so I agree with you there.
Suspicious Windmills I agree with whole your choice, except Sweden, I also hate Azerbaijan, Iceland, Norway, San Marino
No argument from me in your choices.
I'd take Serbia over your praised Finland or Spain songs - who lack any creativity whatsoever - anyday
Serbia, Malta and Finland in bottom 5? no offence but sounds like a weird choice :/ especially when I have been promoted to hear all songs to compare!...:)...if old fashion and noise is anything to go by with then that might cover 80% of this years entries...but?
My bottom 5
43. Norway
42. Georgia
41. Iceland
40. Cyprus
39. Malta
As for Georgia, it is a beautiful song but it is not an Eurovision song. On one thing I agree with you, ESCunified: Eurovision songs need to be catchy. That doesn't mean that they are bad, they're just simply in the wrong song contest... :)
Imo I love Malta i am sad that it didn’t qualify
I fully agree. All of these songs are also in my bottom 6 - one song, you don't have on Your list is my absolute bottom: Estonia. I am a fan of opera and classical music in general. But this song is neither opera nor classical music. There isn't even a memorizable meldody and just because the singer has a trained voice doesn't make it a sophisticated song. And the lyrics: meaningless phrases. Only the dress leaves an impact, but not in a positive way. Since 2014, the "Starwater Show" on the Cruise Ship "Quantum of the Seas" uses a similar dress. That is not necessarily a quality feature...
im from norway, and i just gave up my life when i found out this was representing norway in th competition. NORWAY IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS!!!!!!
My bottom 5:
5. Romania
4. Norway
3. Montenegro
2. Slovenia
1. Iceland
My top 5:
5. Serbia
4. Estonia
3. FYR Macedonia
2. UK (yes I love it shock horror)
1. Sweden
I am Romanian and I know this year is not our best, I just hope we won't be bottom 5 :(
Yessss Sweden is my winner and the U.K. is my country!! I also love storm (I’m probably biased tho, the U.K. have been in my top ten since 2014 (yes even 2015 XD))
Cheeki Breeki Bre! Yodel it! was a great song, illinca is very talented, check out her TH-cam channel
Why is esc so popular? Its not lime its about music... Its like a political drag show with mostly no drag.
The only thing i like about the song from Norway is the old man dancing
We have almost the same bottom songs. I would only replace Malta with Georgia ;)
Oh my god so funny 😂 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂the review on Norway 🇳🇴 shubi dubi dub dub
I agree for Iceland and Serbia not so hot. Norway and Malta perhaps will get into the final but near bottom. San Marino hhhhmmm I think it's catchy, but everyone writes San Marino off too quickly. I don't fancy Albania, Hungary, Ireland,, Sweden (oh god! What happened this year!), that Echo one is annoying and Funny girl. The UK one sounds like 'Soldiers of Love' but catchy tune. Thanks for your bottom 5 - love from an Irish girl in Australia 😘
I think Serbia will qualify, It's quite catchy
There are 2 songs that I can't respect this year. One is Czech Republic, and the other is Norway. At first I couldn't understand why Rybak had the necessity of participate in eurovision again when he already won. But well, since he had the right and the audience vote for him, I let it pass. But then I read the lyrics, I saw the performance and... well, that was a bad joke. A really really bad joke. And when I saw some people's Top10, in which they included Norway at the same level as (to me) other songs with a better quality... I get angry. He will qualify but mostly because of who is him, than the song itself.
(Sorry for my english, tried to write it all well)
The Rap Part is better from San Marino how many other singer can sing ( Belarus,........
You're right about Belarus (although the song is good). His live vocals are awful. Same for Alfred (Spain). I like San Marino's entry (in my top 15 actually).
Jack Goumard if Sweden sing this Song is it about in the Top 10
I'm afraid you're right :'(
Norway's song is like something out of a basic computer music program.
