- Here's our rendition of the classic Cars hit, 'Drive'. Originally released in March 1984 as the third single from the band's Heartbeat City album, and their biggest international hit. Written by Ric Ocasek, the track was sung by Atlanta native/bassist Benjamin Orr and produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange.

Thank you so much for sharing this, a really wonderful performance. I am a purist and usually do not love other singers singing Benjamin's performed songs as I felt he was so incredibly talented, his way of singing was so unique and I still believe he remains underrated however I really like your version. Hi Galan44! My name is Kevin and I am the singer. Part of the mechanics of singing is being able to breathe low and support air from your belly, through the diaphragm. This livestream recording was already pre-scheduled and I was coming off of a really bad cold, in fact, still sick in this video. I was holding my belt buckle in order to keep pressure on the lower abdomen to remind me to relax and breathe low. I figured better to have a few off comments than off time and out of tune vocal notes. ;) Thanks for checking out our videos!

@@madpriest7822 Understandable question. In truth, we didn't really start posting to TH-cam until pandemic. We did it to try and keep people entertained, which is why most of our videos posted have no audience. It was just us alone in a venue recording a rehearsal of sorts. Since going back out on the road after Pandemic, we have performed 163 shows across 27 States. We are trying to document shows where we can, the hard part is finding the time to get them edited and up on TH-cam, while we're on the road. The double edged sword of touring. This was the first time we had all seen each other in months during lockdown... and we rented our local venue and filmed this ourselves, so we could keep our fans, and music lovers, entertained out in the world.
It was a brave move by this team in a time of much needed love and appreciation. Hope that gives you some context as to why anyone might look stiff, or move awkward. ;)
