Recently relocated here, been a month. And I must say it's a quite breath taking place.

@@Barnyz We saw that mega yacht burning on the news but I didn't realize it was in Torquay. Pretty scary to think that could happen in a modern high priced vessel like that one was. I would think the fire marshal will be looking into it.

Never heard about the London Bridge Arch …it’s beautiful 🤩 Lovely harbor …would spend easily a day or two walking around there 🤪 The swans 🦢 were beautiful . Torre Abbey looks a nice place to visit . Great capture ,editing and music …love it !🥰😉👍

I know this may sound a bit stupid but I am not sure if I have been there or not. WE used to holiday in Weymouth and remember one long day trip to another seaside town and unsure if it was Torquey or not. The weather sure looked the same but and I can remember being really impressed with it and it did have a fantastic harbour, which looked awesome by the way on your video. It looks a real nice place and if it were closer, I would love to visit there, as it looked the perfect beach setting and so clean as well, cheers Alan

...I'm from Torquay, ( I left 45 years ago, live abroad.) I never understood why they had those steps at Tor Abby Beach, just get rid of them and you got a nice long beach.

A dump unfortunately. One of the most deprived and depressing towns in England, infested with drugs and chavs. People have the rose tinted glasses on when talking about it as it's by the sea.
Sure, some parts are a dump, but that is the same for most similar sized cities in England (I've visited and lived in many of them). However, torquay is on the coast, and that spectacular coast, imo makes it a better and more interesting place than those other places that don't have such an awesome natural feature.
