Beautiful looking garden beds, they are the bees knees. We don't have dahlias but my mother has them and the slugs and snails love them to. I set up slug traps with a yeast bait for her to keep them under control. She stores the tubers in compost in a polytunnel over winter and they are planted back in the flowerbeds in May.

Your lake is so beautiful! Where is it? I overwintered dahlias for the first time and they are doing great! So rewarding! I love it when you talk to us! You're so funny!
