In all honesty, the indie FPS summer showcase and Selaco is completly cloggin my thinking power right now. So I don't have a clue right now at least :p
I can understand it in survival games sure, but even then, they make it so "hardcore" and annoying to play around it - it just takes me out of the games almost every single time. Now in non-survival games, what's the freaking point of food and water etc. mechanics? Why add them to a game genre that doesn't "need" them or even ask for them? Yeah, I hate those mechanics also lol

Also the Horror game at the start looks great and yes I get you with running away from an unbeatable enemy. It can be crashing the experience, if it's not well made . We'll see. *Looks at his money* "Please don't leave me!" Dragon is Dead and Ghostware are the only ones for me from this list but hrrrrrr, Soulmask looks like it has nice variations to its genres base formula.
Diatomic looks like a hell of a lot of fun! Grave Gunner could be something for in between big games! Dragon is Dead I just love these kinds of games and I can't get enough of the pixelated look either! Taxi Rush I have to say that unfortunately it looks like a mobile game to me, I'd rather stick to the real Crazy Taxi! and like always Great Video Zlim!
Damn this Killer Klows from Outer Space reminds me a lot of the first Killing Floor, not sure if you played, it's a really good Wave Shooter, the shoot mechanics for me is flawless, there is a circus level on the first game (didn't played much the second one, an the third is coming this year). Jimmy did you checked PO'ed: Definitive Edition? Another blast from the Past made by nightdive studios, I never heard of the original, it was a 3DO/PSX game, really weird, but interesting, reminds a little bit of High on Life with all the weirdness Another FPS that's on my wishlist is Twisted Tower, I think I discovered here in the channel, is another Psycho Circus game, it seems cool
Klowns has some design similarities with Killing floor, especially in the circus level but other then that they are two completely different games :D I haven't checked PO'ed, just as you I never played the original, but according to some Bratski's that played the new version it's pretty horrible, the controls are awful and the graphics just not nice to look at, so I think I might skip that one and give space to something better :D Yeah Twisted tower is one I covered, it's in the latest 40 upcoming games video. That one just looks amazing!
Hey Zlim, have you checked out any of the Soulslikes or actual souls games yet? I have been loving the art direction and story in Bleak Faith. Really underrated gem to me. There's nothing else like it out there and I would love you to try it out and review it. I love the Soulslike's because they are very dark and scary but they have actually good gameplay too which I can't really say the majority of horror based games I have played have. Also, horror games tend to be way too short for me where as most Soulslike's are 30 hours or more just to complete the main campaign. On the other end of the spectrum though, I played Elden Ring for 80 hours and it got repetive and exhausting. I think 30 hours is a better length for that type of game. I still haven't finished Elden Ring as I got bored out of my mind by the 80 hour mark.
@ZlimBratSki Remnant 2 is a soulslike shooter too but the story and art isn't on the same level as Bleak Faith although most people say Remnant has better gameplay. Bleak Faith's combat isn't quite as good as Dark Souls or Elden Ring but it's still good for the most part to me.
Everyone I have seen on here from Sweden seems very kind and friendly. Is that the case usually? Everyone here in US is angry and rude now as a contrast.
Outlast was the perfect showcase of a BAD run from evil unkillable entities game. The game is so repetitive that it becomes boring and it loses all sense of fear because of it !
i was surprised at the low requirements of still wakes the deep especially compared to ghost of weebishuma and other open world games, but thats it isnt it, the game is a walking sim from the same people who made everybody gone to the rapture. ghostrunner with guns looks good, i only wish it had textures. Speaking of which, echo point nova is a game literally made for me. i have not played the unreal tournament game but i will in the full release. The next game reminded me of nightmare reaper i never finished it because of its repetitive rogue like elements. So lets see what this dev means by the game not being repettive menial tasks, to me that means half life not modern open world games and survival games Speaking of which when you compared soulmask to darksiders i got excited but nope, another of those crafting basebulding survival games, to be honest abiotic factor is pretty good because it has an actual black mesa underground facility gigantic map to explore that loops around itself with shortcuts like metroidvania games.
Yeah wakes is a walking sim, still looks like a decent one in my book. I need to finish the Echo demo and make a video out of it! Nightmare Reaper has a new mode now that shortens the campaign from 30hours to around 12h, might be time to finish it aye?
@@ZlimBratSki i gave up on nightmare reaper when i found out that in order to progress i need to grind in the sewers to upgrade my character because it was too hard to get pas the later levels.
For me its more so to mark that you will not see Ubisofts next game on here, but more the lower budget ones that are allowed to let their creativity flow and players have fun :)

Imo only Stalker games have the hunger mechanic implemented not annoyingly.
