My thing is that it's stil $12 ish for a small one and you might as well get a regular medium pizza because at least it'll be more dough. But I totally understand because I buy the totina's pizzas and roll them up. I know pizza rolls exists but they don't cook all the way when I make them.
Nowhere NEAR as easily, though. Thicker dough doesn't bend the same way, especially if its the kind with a crispy bottom. Not to mention you'll lose a huge amount of the toppings, because they'll literally be squeezed out while you're trying to roll the thicker slices. The only other "regular" pizza you can do this with are New York style pizzas, and other similar "thin crust" pizzas that aren't baked until crispy. Cause the crispiness would make it impossible.
To all the people suggesting that this dish is roughly similar to something from this or that country, this exact concept has been a thing in the Philippines for the past few years. It's called Panizza, and it's really meant to be a super thin crust pizza that you roll with arugula or other herby greens. The co-owner appears to be Filipina, as well, so there's little doubt in my mind that they just brought the dish over to the US.
It's basically just like a French "tarte flambée" or "flammekuche" which has existed for ages! The only thing is that some of the toppings are a bit different. But even here in France you can find all kinds of "tartes flambées" nowadays.
Thats not pizza, and im not some angry Italian fyi. This is a traditional Turkish bakery product called "Pide", and it is so common that you can find restaurants that sell only Pide. So, this is not innovation, The Turks have been eating it this way since centuries.
There are always some traditional bread/quisine this pizza derives from, not just from the turks there are also similar dishes in other countries. People need to stop claiming that a particular dish is from their country and such because it is rude and disrespectful to the people who made the dish as maybe they derive from their homeland which may produce a similar dish with a similar way of eating. Just sayin'
as an amputee rolled foods can be easier to eat. This looks very interesting to me. I'd love to try it. We have a pace local that has a great thin crust pizza. They have a taco pizza which for me can be messy and difficult to eat cuz toppings fall off everywhere. I thought of putting one on top of other upside down. Maybe I should ask them to cut slightly larger pieces and fold them. It's tavern style-so cut in to squares.
Just cut it in triangle and fold it in half that's how it will always be in ny.unless you having italian style or you're in italy where you use fork and knife.
It just decrease the quantity of pizza...... but it would be really tasty thou
It wouldn’t decrease the quantity at all
ˆ Umh... I’m pretty sure they were talking about how the crust was insanely thin lol
*F E E D M E*
@@Artificial777
Yah it would, you get less dough, so less quantity
I'd ask them not to slice the pizza so I can roll up the entire pizza and eat it

"This pizza is so thin, you have to roll it" That's not because it's thin, it's because the crust isn't crispy so it ALLOWS you to roll it.
This actually sounds awesome... the toppings are the best part of the pizza anyway!
I guess 2018 is the "year of the roll". We have rolled ice cream. Now rolled pizza.
This is the perfectly balanced pizza! No extra dough that just makes you choke!
Omg. Sounds so crispy at 1:38. I love pizza 😍
Isn't the "dough" just one of those Asian egg roll wrappers you find at the frozen section of a Chinese supermarket?
I wanna try this someday. Looks super good, and without the carb guilt too 😋
I think more kids would stay in school if this was always on the menu 🤗

The actual version of "pizza rolls"
It looks like flat bread with some cheese and pepperoni.
Jokes on you. I eat my totino’s pizza this way
They make it thinner but probably charge more than a normal pizza. They must be making alot of profit.
This is just normal for us in the philippines lmao
But its like sooo much bigger and you can put pesto on it
