Great Video my brotha. This is what i presented in my Debate i did with Dr Colon last year. I tore Dr Colon with this and i also asked Dr Colon in my debate with him. If we created Hip Hop together where were there Pr Female Pioneers in the culture. Because we had FBA female pioneering Bgirls, Emcees, Dj's and graff writers. So where were the pioneering Pr sistas in the culture. There were none in the beginnings. He got mad when i asked him that question so he was pissed off. Lol. Man we got this, shouldnt be no more debate. Shiii i didnt see Micro Phone check yet. But i heard Sha Rock asked the same question i asked a year and half ago before the making of Tariq's movie. Where were the Pr Female pioneers in Hip Hop in the 70's. Lol. If they cant answer that, there's no debate on who created Hip Hop. Lol
What's crazy I would believe, PR sistas to be there first , especially if she look the part. That would make more sense. 😂 We need more interviews from the ladies from 70-73/74.
Ya'll act like ya'll scared of dude. You breathing life into a nobody. Joe Conzo claim to be Afro-Latin but pulled a Call the Cops Karen move on Tariq's movie. Haters must go.
Aight!! I was at Sha Rocks celebration I somehow missed You, Malik and Truth!!! Don''t ask me how I got there around 3:30pm - but I'll try to make Disco King Mario's Celebration at the end of July... Hopefully my ears will stop ringing by then - Peace...🙏🏿
@@TheBOOSTEDO, Been tellin u cats to come out for two years now. Glad u saw many of the pioneers. I got the chance to meet Malik. He seemed to njoy himself. Thats how it looked, and how we did back in the day. Mario Day, has cats from the Soundview side. U normally have, Phase playing and some Spades, Kool Dee, Theodore, and many of the cats in M. Wayne TV. Come out and njoy Hip Hop Culture as we know it.
@@dremarwil6456 Yeah man talk to M. Wayne TV - Tell him to consider Livestreaming some of the event so others around the country/World can get a taste... I was going to do a short livestream at Sha Rock Day but was chatting with SaSa and the Twins + taking pics... I'll probably goto the Chuck Chillout 40th Celebration at Crotona Park as well... Peace 🙏🏿
Around 24:00, the Jamaican says that he *"went to dances to see how the [Black American] kids danced and talked."* Yes indeed. How did a foreigner, new to the country, feel comfortable enough to insert himself in a culture that he clearly knew didn't belong to him? He also intentionally hid his background/cultural identity. He also changed the way he dressed to "fit-in". What would prompt a foreigner, who knows they are a foreigner, want to get involved in *another ethnic group's culture AND MUSIC SCENE* ??
Finally, thank you bro 🙏
Without DJ John Brown & Disco King Mario no Hip Hop!
Anybody under 65 can't speak on this era. Everybody's not dead yet.
Great doc only thing is why you cut coke la roc off. Look like he was about to say some fire lol

That's a great point. I didn't consider that question. I see why Colon was upset LOL

Scratching my head how the Puerto Ricans say they were guest and didn't created any type of genre.

Hip Hop started out in the park
One of the tracks at the Plaza Tunnel by DJ John Brown:

Well...well...well. This definitely ain't Disco. I thought they tried to claim that no one was playing funk with breaks before Herc🤔
@@townbiz510 DJ John Brown did before Herc. Herc and Coke got inspired by DJ John Brown playlist when they visit the Plaza Tunnel.
