- in this video I discuss how to know if your hot wheels are valuable and typically which ones are more valuable. we go from the most basic of mainlines to the highly sought after super treasure hunts! tell me below what your most valuable car is!
Dollar stores, CVS, and Walgreens are sometimes better than the big box stores for finding treasure hunts or chase/sought after cars. I found my first and only TH from CVS and I check at different times pretty much every day. Also grocery stores have nice ones. Not found a treasure hunt there but some goodies. Only downside is the cards are sometimes trashed.
Dollar stores nesr me are usually either always picked through or never stocked. Havent tried CVS or Walgreens yet but i will now! Also what groceru stores have hot wheels? Only ones ive seen are publix. ( if your in the us )
@@thegromblerdiecast Oh ok! I am in Houston. We have a ton of Krogers where I find almost all of my hot wheels. And then a ton of CVS, Walgreens, and Dollar Stores.
Ran into a former collector/employee at the Family Dollar and she gave me some good advice of places in my area.
I have never heard of Publix. Just uploaded my first hot wheels video if you want to see what I have collected so far!
Awesome man! Ill check it out
Thanks, this has been very helpful. I just started collecting.
What makes the value of the car more than others, are like you plus on the card. In some cases the card can increase the value from $100 to $400. Because of it being on the card. Also some people will pay good money for JUST the card. Depending on the card. But ultimately what determines the price is the person buying it. Then there are the RLC, Red Line Club car collections. That in order to buy them the day they come out you have to be in the club. And they only allow so many new members at a time. Then good look getting one, because they only put out a limited number and they will sell out in the first few SECONDS that they are released! Then there are the Supreme collections and then the PREMIUM models , and the very limited CHASE cars!
You absolutly right it really depends on a load of factors but the card is a big way to drive the price up on anything
My most valueable hotwheel are the 93 Ferrari 348, 09 Reventon Roadster, 09 Ford GT LM Satin Blue.

We in Bosnia have both short cards and long cards
It depends on what store you go to
Wow thats cool i didnt know that. Here in the US we only get long cards. Thanks for watching!
Short cards are in the box sets. Like the 50 pack
Regular Treasure Hunts are a Silver ( not Black ) flame inside of a circle, where the Super Treasure Hunts have a Gold ( not Orange) flame inside of the circle.
You are correct about the Vehicle's symbol identification (The circle w/ the flame and the"TH" Logos) on the casting itself.
This is a good video for those who are new to the hobby?!
Thanx for sharing M8. ☠️
Do you know anything about a golden error Batmobile Hot Wheels I picked one up yesterday For $1.35 at Dollar Store cheap
Not ecactly sure about those but depends on the error it might be worth something
I think my most valuable is Gas Monkey STH but i have some good one i have the Red Tesla Roadster with a Moonman in the driver seat and i have OG batmobile with a Mystery Machine paint job 😂❤
Thats a nice one!
Very nice casting bro
Thank you so much 😀
Look ppl, I've lived in USA and now I live on an island in the Atlantic ocean,, value of cars are dependant on where you live,, in the US is all about muscle cars, where I live is all about jdm and German cars..Is difficult to say which ones are more expensive....
You got a point there my friend 👍
I dunno about value but in the USA the Jap cars are just as popular as muscle cars.
Do you have a tesla dinki car if so smash it tesla sucks
Nah i dont man
My most valuable car is a redline funny car, it is white, good condition
Man I bet that's nice to have
18:09 The video was nice you did a good job you maybe should do another explaining that the premiums have a chase car usually explain how more times then not the premiums will be numbered 1-5 and the chase 0 and you could explain how each year 15 different cases come out there will be millions of the 15 cases but they fall into a case system A-H and J-N &P and Q no I or O because could be mistake for and 0 or a 1 you could earn people about how to look for scams on line and that all super treasure hunts aren’t equal in value and most important is I would explain fantasy vs real life vehicles I have left super treasure hunts in the store like the glory chaser I already had one don’t like fantasy cars so didn’t want two and you could maybe do a weekly thing talking about upcoming releases you seem to truly enjoy your diecast cars and you can here it in your voice that you are passionate about the hobby and you could speak on livery’s like gulf or k&n you are pretty good at this
I was looking to do some of these but i think i could make a more complicated video about some of these things for people that have been collecting for a little bit longer. Great suggestions man its appriciated. You seem like your a collecter to huh?
My most valuable car is my Porsche 911 gt3 chase and I just started collecting I’ve always bought random hot wheels I liked but I just got into collecting and hunting

my most valuable hotwheel car is either my evil knieval rocket car or my 2003 enzo ferrari.
Oo those are nice
I have a couple of Hot Wheels Star Trek ships I wonder if they're valuable
Never heard of those. Could be!
Nice one
Nice info thanks
I'm just new to this hobby and I just don't know how to store my cars, just got some normal Treasure Hunts cars, so that obviously going to stay in the card, but what about those normal mainline cars? Should I also keep them in the card? Or if i'm taking them out would them be much less in value?
With the storage of cars not in package there are some clear cases that are widely used. For stuff in package you can display on walls or in shelves or stuff like that. I can do a video on storage methods if you like. Most mainlines arent worth much so just open them i would say.
@@thegromblerdiecast oh yea and is there any methods to protect the cars from getting rusty, and thanks for the tip
Honestly these cars wont rust for a reaaaaaal long time if you dont keep them wet / treat them bad. The storage video should come out around the middle of next week for you
I,for one , buy in pairs . One to open , another to stash for (theoretical) resale.
My collection contains has some pieces that have been with me 60
years . These are Matchbox die-cast my Mom bought me.
Memphis Dan LeLoLai
Always let them in the card (like I do) to pump up the value 🎉
Mm
Mm mm of is it off yet if it is off
Yes indeed thanks for support of our race diecast channel bro👍👍🤣
The Deora you showed is a Deora 2 and is not one of the Sweet 16 from 1968. It came out around 1995 to 1998 and is still released to this day. They can be found in the US for $0.25 cents to $3.00 and I don't know what year they stopped putting surf boards on them. But no longer have surf boards included.
Great info!
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching
What about Hotwheels that are other vehicles? I have a few helicopters, submarines and a scooter from the early 2000s
Cars like those might not be worth a whole lot, but since they are from the 2000s, they might be more valuable
@@thegromblerdiecast Ok cool, I got a bunch from the 90s and early 80s too, holding on to them, in hopes they go up in value. Thanks for the reply.
Oh, no problem. I tryto respond quickly as I can. Those will definitely go up, especially if they are desirable, and in card helps with resale value.
