A tutorial on how to mount Walker earpro to a FAST cut helmet. Items used: Guard Dog FAST 3a ballistic helmet 3M Peltor ARC Walker Firemax Electronic Earmuffs
It can be loose.. haven’t really had a problem with them falling too far out of place but the arc travel stops aren’t compatible with walkers. There is a “adapter” on Amazon I will be trying shortly. But for a setup that cost less than Peltors it’s not bad. I’ve been using the wire as stop but it rarely gets there.

I don’t mind it. It has weight but it’s not horribly taxing on my neck. It gets the most use in the winter for coyote stands 3hrs is a short trip. I stay plenty warm with it on 45min sits, windy, -10F days. With only my Sitka gradient hoodie on under it. This will be my first summer using it for drills. Note if you need pure speed it may not be the helmet for you the weight keeps it moving when you turn your head.
@@KyleKeierleber Understood. I’m no high speed operator, but I can tell you from walking around for an hour rn in a cheap unvented bump helmet in 75 degree weather my head is nice and toasty!

How well do the walkers stay on the peltor mount. It looked pretty loose when you slid it back on at the end of the video.

It's not too bad considering the price but I bent the tips of the mount outwards just a little bit to make it really tight

Where did you get the helmet cover though I've ordered like 5 none of them fit, they're all made for bumps and I can't find one that fits

In the display it will show the battery life. And the ear pro will tell you when it’s low.

Whats the range like on the walkie talkie?? Im wanting to run this for airsoft but im unsure if it will have good enough range
Haven’t range tested yet but it’s looking good, the furthest so far has been 200yds on opposite sides of a large hill.

I love it, at times I have to check if they’re sealed around my ears the sound and direction can be that good at times.

Yes it will mount to standard helmet rails, that appears to have them.
now they just fall off the arc rail mounts. they dont stay on lmao.
