A couple of weeks ago you were recommending small trees [exactly what I was looking for at the time] and now here you are suggesting perfumed plants for shady spots, which I hadn't even begun to search for until I saw this video pop up. I don't think YT/Google are spying on me in unison; I've just spent two days jet-spraying my side return so naturally my thoughts were turning to what new plants to look for, but I hadn't even searched online. There's a spot near my back door that the Maianthemum racemosum is almost designed for. Thanks so much [again].
I absolutely adore my sweet woodruff! As does every other gardener I give some to lol Excellent video and I will check to see if the other plants are hardy in my part of the world. Thank you 🌸🌿
I adore white blooming plants in a shady area - they really shine ❤ and if they smell beautifully- so much better. 😊 I heard sweet woodruff can be dried just like lavender for wardrobe scenting and moth deterring. Is that true?
I'm wondering where to buy them, too. It's easy to buy all the old favorites where I live in Northern Portugal, but I've not seen any of these here. I haven't even been able to buy Lily-of-the-Valley!
For any new viewers of the channel - Welcome!! :)
You will find the names and USDA zones of each plant mentioned in video description
Thank you so much!

Excellent video. I was looking for something different than the usual bread and butter shade combinations. ❤
Love your videos ❤🙏🏻
Inspirational as always and now wondering where I can fit some of them in. Thank you.
I love sweet woodruff such a pretty scent . Is maianthemum what used to be smilacina ?

Just found your channel through middle sized garden. Any chance you could say what zone plants grow in
