I have to wonder if there are plans for more costumes... The wording's been very specific about Dry Bowser being the last character (sort of a bad character to give last since his animations are, for the most part, just Bowser's.)
Dry Bowser is one of my favorite characters, but I do sort of wish that he had different animations. At least he has blue fire, which looks pretty cool.
I'm glad that even if Dry Bowser doesn't have his own animations, they at least gave him a unique perk to stand out (said perk being the fact that his racket DOESN'T take damage from Zone Shots)
It's sad that you have to pay for a subscription to even compete to get the alternate costumes (aside from Purple Yoshi, which you can get offline). Even completing the offline tourney with every character in each cup doesn't get you anything, which is a slap in the face. Future reference, Nintendo, some of us don't want to pay to play online JUST to unlock alternate skins; you should have made them obtainable offline, too like the courts and Purple Yoshi.
@Loyla RN but I have the game and only Mario Luigi Wario and Waluigi (and of course the princesses and Pauline) are in sport gear. Are you saying everyone else's outfits need to be unlocked?

Alternate costumes are available for some characters. The Overalls were all available as a costume you could get.

Mario's, Luigi's, Wario's, Waluigi's classic outfits technically count as DLC.
