I do agree, the implementation of the AVWAP is fantastic. Using it is a joy.
Great presentation, I guess it is time to bring him back with more on VWAP. Specially with some feed back on Forex and Futures analysis with VWAP. Really hope you can arrange a new presentation. Great work Stockcharts !!!

I think the anchored vwap indicator was developed by the late physicist Paul Levine in the 1990s.
His book is sold out on Amazon, is there another place to buy it? I’ve been looking everywhere for it. Thank you

Been using it on ACP for a couple of weeks now. Appreciate Brian’s explanation on its application. Perfect compliment to his book. Will we be able to set some scan with an AVWAP? Would love to see it.
Did you find a scan for AVWAP?
We know AVWAP is effective for day trading. But is it also useful for swing trading lasting 3-6 weeks?

It would be a lot more “electrifying” if he could prove it turns a profit. A bunch of clever doohickeys are just that unless they can produce the desired outcome.

Like curve fitting. Like taking a moving average and keep changing the number of periods and time frame to find and show a number of hits (bounces).

Even after 2 years, NOBODY that writes articles for Stockcharts has used VWAP in their articles for decision making. So, is the "new shiny thing" just a bunch of electrified hype? Proof please Grayson.
Just moving averages. And this is new?
MAs are price-based and have nothing to do with volume.
ma's are crap as compared to anchored vwap
