Astec Vantage Portable Asphalt Plant

Original Solidworks CAD model was exported out to STL, then imported into Lightwave 2019 Modeler for polygon rebuilding, reduction, clean up, optimization, and material assignments. The original STL model had over 20 million polygons. After conversion, clean up, and optimization, the Lightwave native model has 1.8 million.
Using the previous Astec Voyager and Ventura animation projects, I repurposed certain scenes with the new product to highlight its similar options, rendering the resulting ten scenes using LW's native render engine, using Butterfly Net Render 7.5 on a 8-computer (30-core) render farm, which took about ten days.
Editing, call outs, and 3D render compositing done in After Effects 2023, using an EXR motion vector data sequence to power Reel Smart Motion Blur.
