Like those people who complain about higher authority yet do nothing and have no idea how to improve it. They complain and complain yet they also don't make a single move to fix it. She is correct in how Mitsuki and Enji's parenting mistakes but she herself is not that better than them. Parenting is hard and parents are human too. There are many mistakes that a parent makes that a lifetime of fixing will never be enough. She goes on and on like how she is better than them yet she herself is ignorant of her own faults. And the students participating in the war 1st round were a blow-up situation. Their job at first was evacuating the civilians with a few of them on the frontline when the pro heroes ambushed the hospital. Then Shigaraki happened which wasn't really in the calculation of the pro heroes, it was a very bad situation that went super bad. Izuku and Katsuki originally went against their own order/mission which was evacuating the civilians on their own judgment to pursue Shigaraki which we as readers know that it's because Izuku knew that Shigaraki was able to track down OFA. Shoto, later Tenya also showed up against their own mission to help them. And at last, they are students yes! But they also are hero-in-training who are doing internships. They had signed up for this. Maybe not this early but they had signed up for dangerous situations. The fact that the kids are fighting in this war is portrayed as a failure of their superpower-hero society. But the war was not something any of them wanted, especially the heroes. And the heroes are not feeling much better, the first war was out of control and they are trying their best. Uraraka had said it, heroes are human too. They are not perfect machines. They are bound to make mistakes and get exhausted. Now about the 2nd war, the kids gonna got caught up in it one way or another. Because their whole country is already caught up in it. Is it unfair? Yes, definitely. But life is unfair. And you know why the kids are fighting? Because some of them are indeed stronger than some pro heroes. There's a whole arc explaining how quirks got stronger and stronger each generation, the latter is stronger and more unique than the last. And Izuku unfortunately is caught up in it as AFO's target. Also, let's be real, the kids will choose to fight in it to help their friends and the older generation have a better chance at operating with them than opposing them. But again, this whole situation of kids fighting in war is a FAILURE, stressing out FAILURE, of the older generation and of their society as a whole. And the pro heroes, the previous generation are trying to fix it. But ya know, they have to get rid of the biggest threat that is destroying people's lifes before moving to fix their society. Momo's mother is not delivering her points in the most kind or compassionate way and she's definitely a smug cunt, yes! but that does not make anything that she's saying any less valid and just because somebody is not putting in the work to jump start the change that needs to be done in society, doesn't mean that they can't call out the issues in society. most change is started by people pointing out an issue, and most people won't see the flaws in there actions or behaviors unless they're confronted... She also has every right to call out the failures in Mitsuki's and Enji's parenting and to say that she's not much of a better parent than he is is absolutely absurd. in terms of what's established in the canon, Momo's mother is a negligent and critical parent at worst, that's nowhere near as bad as Enji neglecting 3 of his kids, and then violently abusing one of them (physically and emotionally) under the guise of training, so that said child is able to fulfill his washed up dream. parents make mistakes, yes! but violently abusing your entire family for decades is not a mistake. that is a conscious decision that a parent needs to be held accountable for until the day they die. I don't doubt that Momo's mother is blind to her own fault, and you can see that in the way that everything she says has a condescending tone attached to it, but it would be foolish to say that she can't shit on Enji. Mitsuki is a different case though because although I don't believe that Momo's mother needs to be as harsh as she was, she wasn't wrong...Mitsuki should have corrected Bakugo's behavior the instant that he started showing signs of being a violent bully, she was complacent in his behavior. There are literally multiple lower ranked pro heroes whose entire schtick is patrols, civilian rescues, etc. things of that nature-- handling the minor things and leaving the big tasks such as villains, and hostage situations to the higher ranked pros. The heroes also should've taken into account Shigaki, and every move that he could possibly have done considering the fact that he's one of the highest ranked villains and he's constantly been a threat throughout the entirety of the series, not taking the time to account for all of the possible situations with Shigaki was a failure on their part. on the topic of Shigaki, izuku shouldn't have been anywhere near that vicinity considering the fact that he is the primary target. the heroes, his teacher, every adult involved should have done more to keep him away from that fight and keep him protected. furthermore, their students and their children. they signed up to do internships where they were constantly under the watchful eye of trusted and credible adults. not once in their internships were they put in dangerous situations without a pro-hero nearby to protect them and guarantee their safety. I understand that heroes in training means they're not always going to be protected. There's going to be instances where they end up in dangerous situations because that's just what being a hero entails, but them signing up for internships is nowhere near equivalent to them signing up to be a part of a literal war?? They signed up to potentially be in dangerous situations, yes! but not ones that include full-blown war. Even then, young hero's should not be able to sign up to be war soldiers... heroes aren't perfect and they are human and they do make mistakes, but when those mistakes can potentially cost a young student or an innocent civilian their life, Momo's mother was completely right... sometimes your best isn't enough. adult heroes cannot be infantilized, they made the decision to be a hero, fully aware of everything that being a hero would come with, and in that lies or responsibility to make as a little mistakes as possible. my final point... the kids being stronger than the pro heroes should not be an excuse for them to be on the front lines. The pro heroes needed to put in the work to be stronger, to level up their quirks, to improve their skill set. There is absolutely no way that a couple of 15-year-olds should be more advanced than 30-year-olds with a decades of experience who should have a decade of training under their belt. everybody also knew that Izuku was a target, and everybody knew the kind of "self-sacrificial, loyalty to the death of him" kind of person that he is, they should've done more to make sure that he was protected. the war itself is not only a failure of the society as a whole, but it's also the failure of the pro heroes. Yes, they have to pick up the slack for the generations before them and I understand that that can be a very hard thing to do, but it's undeniable that the pro heroes perpetuate the unfair systems of their society due to the choices they make. I would also like to point out that a large amount of the corruption in their society can fully be blamed on the commission...because fuck the commission. they definitely have to handle the looming threats of powerful villains in their society before they can start trying to rebuild their society and fix it, but the villains aren't the only problem. A lot of the issues in their society, stems from generational trauma, the binary way in which everybody sees things, the vilification of anyone who differ's from their norm, the lack of mental health support and the idolization of heroes.... the sacrifice, hard work and accomplishments of izuku, todo roku and baku you was literally erased from all records and the heroes allowed for it to happen, if that doesn't showcase the sheer amount of corruption within their society that the heroes themselves perpetuate...idk what does...

Shigaraki oh Shigaraki, the heroes did give their best trying to stop him. All the planning and preparation for this raid took months, so so many pro heroes participated in this raid and you said they didn't treat him with enough precaution? And their plan did, in fact, almost succeed. Then Shigaraki fucking came back alive with AFO and nearly killed every fucking pro heroes near him. His quirk got boosted like 100x due to the AFO quirk. Nobody really prepared for it. Well, they do kinda prepared for it. Civilian evacuation? That was a part of it. “Pro heroes should do better!” and I think this is their best against Shigaraki and LOV. In-universe wise, they don't have many counterpart options towards Shigaraki's quirk. Protecting and preventing Izuku from going against Shigaraki because he was the target? At that point, there were barely any people who knew about OFA. Thus, they wouldn't know he was Shigaraki's target in the first place. Izuku is self-sacrificing indeed, that is literally one of his flaws that they address in Dark Hero Arc. He headed towards Shigaraki because the other way, Shigaraki would head to him. Of course, Izuku could hide but that would put others in danger, and we all know what kind of person Izuki is. And you see, other pro heroes who were fighting Shigaraki did tell Izuku and Katsuki to go back but they were barely holding against Shiragaki in the first place. The kids inserted themselves into the fight against the adults' will because they were having a hard time fighting Shigaraki (who is rightfully OP at this moment). About how their involvemen was erased from all records… it is unfair and is indeed showing the corruption of the Hero Commission. But on the other hand, I can see how showcasing these children on the frontline and got injured would, I don't know, cause more panic on a nation disaster that was already bad enough? I wouldn't call it corruption of all of them but it's a failure for all the pro heroes. “Pro heroes allowed it to happen?” Yeah, it's their failure. But she has a point in one thing in the end. “Midoriya Izuku will be the one fighting that villain, not the number 1 hero Endeavor.” When Dabi introduced himself as Endeavors son in the battle. Endeavor actually froze. He couldn’t fight anymore due to his shock. It was the hero work study students that had to do a lot of work, when Endeavor just stood frozen in his spot. She’s not wrong, but she could have stated her other points in another ways.

She is not wrong though. What happened to Touya is just the consequence of Endevours actions. Her point is that the children should have never been fighting and that's true. In the series itself, the author paints the children participating in this war as a failing of the society of quirks. The students should have never been fighting for their lives, it should have been left only to the pros. that's what I like about mha, the story shows that a society of people with superpowers is not perfect and can have some truly terrible sides to it.

Then that purpose, and his father's attention, was ripped away from him due to his quirk. Touyas actions when he was a child fall on the shoulders of Endavour and Rei. If they had gotten him the help he so clearly needed, I'm sure his life would have been different. 2. Sure Endevours trying to be better, but I don't think a character can come back from hitting their wife and child (Shoto) on screen. too little too late in my opinion. 3. Obviously as this is an anime the students are getting involved for the reasons you stated. However, this is a PARENTS react. You said there should be other low heroes and sidekicks doing the evacuation. And the students are doing the evacuation because that is what they are, on the field in this situation. Most other pro heroes ARE on the front lines raiding the villain hideout!!! I do feel like they are a bit short on hand but most pro heroes were there for the raid.
Shigaraki oh Shigaraki, the heroes did give their best trying to stop him. All the planning and preparation for this raid took months, so so many pro heroes participated in this raid and you said they didn't treat him with enough precaution? And their plan did, in fact, almost succeed. Then Shigaraki fucking came back alive with AFO and nearly killed every fucking pro heroes near him. His quirk got boosted like 100x due to the AFO quirk. Nobody really prepared for it. Well, they do kinda prepared for it. Civilian evacuation? That was a part of it. “Pro heroes should do better!” and I think this is their best against Shigaraki and LOV. In-universe wise, they don't have many counterpart options towards Shigaraki's quirk.
Protecting and preventing Izuku from going against Shigaraki because he was the target? At that point, there were barely any people who knew about OFA. Thus, they wouldn't know he was Shigaraki's target in the first place. Izuku is self-sacrificing indeed, that is literally one of his flaws that they address in Dark Hero Arc. He headed towards Shigaraki because the other way, Shigaraki would head to him. Of course, Izuku could hide but that would put others in danger, and we all know what kind of person Izuki is. And you see, other pro heroes who were fighting Shigaraki did tell Izuku and Katsuki to go back but they were barely holding against Shiragaki in the first place. The kids inserted themselves into the fight against the adults' will because they were having a hard time fighting Shigaraki (who is rightfully OP at this moment).
About how their involvemen was erased from all records… it is unfair and is indeed showing the corruption of the Hero Commission. But on the other hand, I can see how showcasing these children on the frontline and got injured would, I don't know, cause more panic on a nation disaster that was already bad enough? I wouldn't call it corruption of all of them but it's a failure for all the pro heroes. “Pro heroes allowed it to happen?” Yeah, it's their failure. You talked like human doesn't make mistakes and pro heroes are these perfect machines. Which exactly is what the civilians in the aftermath of the war thought. “The pro heroes need to do a better job!”

Momo's mom needs to shut her damn mouth up , is she the one who found out a child she thought was dead was alive all this time and even worse is now a villian hell bent on killing everyone in her family, is she the one who got beaten and stabbed by shigaraki (who at this point is the worlds stongest villian )who knows how many times and still keep fighting, is she the one who lost an arm fighting afo and still kept going and finally is she the one who had to step up and take all might's place as number one hero and have to carry the expectations of the people of japan on her shoulders ?
She is not wrong though. What happened to Touya is just the consequence of Endevours actions. Her point is that the children should have never been fighting and that's true. In the series itself, the author paints the children participating in this war as a failing of the society of quirks. The students should have never been fighting for their lives, it should have been left only to the pros. that's what I like about mha, the story shows that a society of people with superpowers is not perfect and can have some truly terrible sides to it.

2. Say what you will about endeavor but the guy is making sure he sorts out the mistakes from his past and reuniting his family even willing to remove himself from their lives if thats what it takes for them to be happy

Whether you like it or not the second the war started the kids were bound to get involved as they are heroes in training they are natural targets for villains , deku is shigaraki's target and touya is targeting shoto , the rest of the class has also has multiple run-ins with the l.o.v do you really think the l.o.v would just leave them alone?

@@ghOStDiVision790 1. The whole reason Touya was jealous of Shoto was because of his father. Endeavor raised Touya to become the number one hero, that was the whole purpose of his life. Then that purpose, and his father's attention, was ripped away from him due to his quirk. The whole reason he continued to train his quirk was to prove to Endeavor that he still had a purpose and wasn't a failure. Touyas actions when he was a child fall on the shoulders of Endavour and Rei. If they had gotten him the help he so clearly needed, I'm sure his life would have been different.
2. Sure Endevours trying to be better, but I don't think a character can come back from hitting their wife and child (Shoto) on screen. too little too late in my opinion.
3. Obviously as this is an anime the students are getting involved for the reasons you stated. However, this is a PARENTS react. I'd be pretty mad if I learned that in the future my child will be involved in two wars as a high school student. Momo's anger at the pro heroes, especially number one pro hero Endeavor is justified. The pros failed the students, sending students to war is a failure. And even the series shows that its not a good thing that they were sent to war.
4. Her statement here was more of a dig on Endeavor and the pros. She's saying that the pros are failing to do their jobs so badly that a student is doing the action the Number one pro should be doing. It's pretty clear that this is a condemnation of the failings of the pros and government then praising the video of the children fighting.
