Superb presentation, and thanks for getting us up close to the wonderful marks and colours. The walls were a perfect match for Fred’s paintings I noticed.

I have an illness that limits my function. I paint, I love to see paintings & to learn about artists new & old. My point is, I cant tell u how many videos I have watched while resting....thousands easily. Ur presentation, the patience, the consistency (in front with equal distance per piece, then a zoom to investigate interesting brush work, angled to expose the texture/surface tension) committed to throughout the entire walk through is absolutely perfect. Bravo!! Thank u so much, I will re-watch this many times.
The artist is FANTASTIC! A modern Turner. What I found beautiful would simply lead to the next treat. First composition & value....the drama. Then color....with smaller marks of red or pink or blue peaking through the larger earth tones, hiding in the texture. The brush work.... a wonderful buildup of paint & scrapes....scumbles & dry paint dragged across the bumpy surface. U even gave us a wonderful moment with the moon. A perfect contrast, a symmetrical shape staring out from the collection of sharp slashes & scars. I felt a great connection between the old & the new. The light of Daniel Sprick bursting through the chaos of Turner, Monet’s abstract realism without the chalky points....more lily pond then cathedral.
Also, what an interesting space? Rustic & perfectly suited for the color within the paintings. The best to everyone involved......wishing u all good fortune.
    Thank u

So glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, Fred is a wonderful painter, and, as an artist myself, I like to film the exhibition in a similar manner to how I would look in person. And thus I can also visit it again and again. Indeed, his surfaces are always so rich and intriguing, his brush work so animated and spontaneous. Funnily enough, this is probably one of my most popular videos because Fred is so widely admired.

Good work with your filming. So few people really take the time to examine art carefully and take in the texture and nuances in a mature piece done by a skilled artist.
    Cheers🇨🇦

Most enjoyable. Uncontrived, no narration, all you had to do is follow the camera and you instantly understood why the director focused where he wanted to focus.

Beautiful Body of work!! Such subtle sensitivity in the abstract brush touches which make up the whole! Bravo!

Subtle sensitivity, that is a good description. The way he uses his muted colors and loose brush work kind of reminds me of Turner.
