The day Mizuno releases the Japan Green colorway they dropped back in 2014 onto their latest models, I will never buy another pair of boots again. I definitely gotta try these out in the meantime though

Yeah mega expensive, BUT. If you can afford to buy them from overseas, I strongly recommend it

I’ve heard that the leather quality is even softer on the white pair due to the dye used to get the yellow colour. Do you know if this is true?

The extra knit the back of the heal 9:05 ; the way I use it on my mizunos is as a pull tab to put my shoes in and sometimes it becomes difficult with grips socks.

I spoke to someone about why the yellow ones dont feel as soft as the white ones and they say its because the dye treatment in the yellow ones make them stiffer. Not sure why its not the case in the beta version though

Hey Noah ! Perhaps for a change you should consider using red laces to match the red running bird Logo ! It’ll look sick !
I’ve changed mine to the Mizuno’s Zero Glide red laces and it looks awesome !

Funny thing with the sizing, we went the opposite way haha
I got 29cm for both X-Fly 5 and Neo 4 Non-beta, which actually makes it US-sizing true to size on Asics (US11.5) and half-size down on Mizuno (US11). The both fit the same length-wise for me.
I do feel the heel area is miles better on the Asics though... The fact it doesn't have an internal heel counter on the back and makes it wrap around the heel incredibly well. So comfortable.

Went to Japan recently bought my boys same Mizunos different colorway. So much cheaper over there. They love the boot.

@@TommyLa1299 I stayed in Tokyo and Kyoto most of the time but also went to Osaka. Yeah my grandmother's from Kyoto but the Mizuno flagship store is in Tokyo, but there's also other soccer stores that sell Mizuno and other Japanese brands that we don't even get here in the states that are made very well. I didn't realize till I got there that Mizuno has their hand in multiple sports

I have the CTR360 Maestri remakes, so I'm not opposed to yellow boots. But I don't like this super bright colorway for a premium K-leather boot.

the beta elites are such a great option for the price, especially in the US. not too far off the MIJ's in terms of quality and SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. mizuno can do no wrong

Honestly I have had same feelings as you, but with neo 3s. It felt like the leather from neo 3 betas were extremely high quality and even the smell from leather was great but in classic neo 3s it felt like its even lower quality and there was no smell from leather whatsoever!

Second it about the leather quality on Dyna pack. I have both the launching white edition and dyna pack, both of Morelia Neo 4, and the white colorway is crazily softer than the yellow one

Went TTS for these non betas, but unfortunately still found the length to be too long, and half size down was too tight for me. Really wish I was able to fit them. Instead got the Alphas and I'm very happy with them.
Fair enough mate! I'd go 1/2 size down and actually try and break them in for a bit - I reckon they'd fit perfect. Either way though, I'm glad you enjoy the Alphas! Those are dope

Either mate! The Alpha is definitely more locked in and aggressive, whereas these are more comfort driven with a nice leather touch

Longtime viewer, Noah. Love the channel. My non-beta Neo IVs just arrived, albeit in the black and red colorway. Ordered true to size and they are simply too big. Specifically, the length of the boot is way too long. Trying a half size down.
If I were to also try the Morelia II, is the sizing pretty similar?
Got you! You must have a bit more narrow feet than me 😎 The Morelia 2 fits true to size for SURE. If you have wider feet, the Neos are good TTS, but if you have thinner feet or even just average feet, 1/2 size down is best

No, some are made in Indonesia - the ones that are "MIJ" are made in Japan
i think you are just unlucky with the leather quality. i live in Asia and have been using Mizuno boots for years. sometimes they have quality control issues (they are not as godly as the Westerns made them out to be!). I have had a couple of incidents where the leather is supremely soft on one boot, and the other is just meh, pretty much like your left boot. I have friends that has one boot with accommodating fit, and the other boot just has a much lower forefoot volume!
Couldn’t have said this better. Mizunos are great but they’re just a football boot, they have their flaws like all others. My Morelia MIJs have meh lockdown without grip socks and the sole plate is too soft now lol. For $300 I wouldn’t get them again

Nice Noah. Do you think your foot arch is flat, med, high? Neos feel like I have less arch support compared to Morelia 2’s. Do you experience that, does it improve. These are my all time favorite but neo 2, and neo 3 beta had this arch issue. Wondering if these would be better.
Medium to low, no issues so far
tested this pair today, and like neo 3, personally, I think a half size down will be much more suitable for my own feet. I usually wear 8uk, 27cm and before this I had the Neo 2, and the sizing was perfect, but not with neo 3 & 4.

How long do these bad MIJ bad boys last, say if you play on AG 3 times a week? Most ppl said a long time, but there was a minority on Reddit that were saying otherwise.

Fair enough mate! These won't stretch toooo much, but leather always has a little stretch
I watched your video reviewing the neo 3, and I noticed that you used 7.5uk for neo 3, but you are using 8uk for neo 4.. Is there any reason for that sir?

How do the MIJ version compare to the non MIJ version? Is it worth the price difference, can't really find a clear answer on the difference online.
If price is no issue for you, the MIJ products have 1) better build quality - 24 hour lasting process and some more magic behind the scenes, 2) more premium materials, 3) higher durability, 4) history and prestige. HOWEVER. What most people may not say is this isn't a question of say the top end Vapor and the second tier Vapor. BOTH the MIJ and non-MIJ products are "top end quality", the MIJ models are just that much better comparatively speaking. Hopefully that makes sense. If you buy the elite (non-MIJ) models, you're still getting what I would consider to be a top end football boot

I had the neo 3 betas and that leather was so buttery and premium/soft.
I got the neo 4 non beta just today, and the leather just doesn’t feel as soft. Not sure what’s going on man, could they be fakes???
I doubt it mate, sometimes boots in different generations have different feels to them. Even color differences mean slightly different treatments on boots

hi noah, my right foot is a bit bigger than my left. i'm currently using a pair of morelia 2s in a size 23cm and it fits tight on my right foot. do you recommend going 23.5cm in these and a 23cm 2E in the x-fly 5? thank you! 😊
I’d go for the 23 still, fits a bit longer than the Morelia 2

VERY similar! Slightly better shape overall though, and materials are amazing

Similar, but not exactly the same. The DNA is the most similar to the Morelia 2

Mizuno don't sell the non-betas in a lot of markets that would otherwise sell the betas.
I'm not sure mate, I think it's because the market for them is smaller than the Betas - just because the Betas are the "most high tech" out of the mizuno line outside the Alpha
