- الوجهة في كل الحالات واحدة، إنها الإسلام الذي ارتضاه الله لعباده ديناً، ولكن في حالة كل مرتحل إليه من دين آخر أو من "لا دين" تكون نقطة البداية مختلفة، ولذلك فرحلة كل واحد قطع المسافة رحلة خاصة ومتفردة. في "رحلتي إلى الإسلام" نقص أثر المسافر إلى الله ونسمع منه شخصياً وهو يروي لنا كيف كانت رحلته.
نلتقي في هذه الحلقة مع أمينة بليك لتحدثنا عن رحلتها إلى الإسلام.
The destination in all cases is one and the same, it is Islam, the religion Allah accepts from humans. Yet, every traveller from any religion, or from "no religion", to Islam has a different starting point. No wonder, every journey is a unique experience. In "My Journey to Islam" we trace the path taken by the travellers and hear from them how their journey was made.

Things happen for a reason, I was a Jehovah's witness for a little over 20 years I left that belief in 2015, it's no coincidence I came across this video as I am learning about Islam.
Every christian who practise his religion and loves Jesus from his heart he unconsciously approaches to Islam, a curious phenomenon that has seen thousands of christians converting because they found in islam the way to satisfy their "hunger" of spirituality and devotion to the God of universe. Ameena was the first woman took our hands in this country when we came to UK & seek refugee. I personally was astonished of how kind & strong this woman was regarding the Iman & desire of knowledge of Islam. Me as a Muslim learned to love all what I have from Islam because of this lovely woman. الله يثبت قلوبنا على دينه.

This verse from Qur'an is for disbelievers and hypocrites like you who know Islam is the one true religion and yet don't believe in it out of their hatred for it.

1. Allah (in Arabic) = God (in English)
Can't believe that even in big 2020 some ppl don't know this.
2. Yes, Arabs were idol worshippers before Mohammed (pbuh) was born or when publically announced his prophet hood but he never worshipped any idol in his life, just like Abraham (pbuh) or any other Prophet that came before him.
3. Ofcourse prophet Mohammed (pbuh) knew and met Christians in his lifetime. Infact one of the Nestorian Christian priest Warqah bin Nawfal was one of the first people who believed in the prophet hood of Mohammed (pbuh) after realising that Mohammed (pbuh) fulfills all the prophecies about final messenger told by Jesus (pbuh) before he was taken to heavens. He also testified that the angel who came to Mohammad (pbuh) with revelations was the same angel who came to Jesus (pbuh).
4. Kaaba was built by Abraham (pbuh) and his son. And overtime people made it idol worshipping place and placed idols in and around it. And because of this reason (among many others), Allah (God) sent another prophet who would teach world and people about the Oneness of Allah. Christians started saying that Jesus (pbuh) is the son of Allah (God) and things like this and started worshipping him, when in reality, Jesus (pbuh) preached the Oneness of Allah (God). Just like Moses (pbuh) preached the Oneness of Allah (God). Just like Abraham (pbuh) and Noah (pbuh) and Isaac (pbuh) and Jacob (pbuh) and Aaron (pbuh) and Samuel (pbuh) and Joseph (pbuh) and Zachariah (pbuh) and Ezekiel (pbuh) and Elias (pbuh) and Solomon (pbuh) and Methusaleh (pbuh) and Lot (pbuh) and Jethro (pbuh) and Enoch (pbuh) and Ishmael (pbuh) and Jon (pbuh) and Jonah (pbuh) and all other 124,000 prophets (peace be upon them all) which Allah (God) sent over different time periods and different nations and tribes and some with books and some with scrolls for teaching humans about the Oneness of Allah (God). They all preached the same message; "There is no deity worthy of worship, but (one) Allah (God)"
Hope you educate yourself more on Islam as Islam was the only religion preached by all the prophets sent by Allah (God), from Adam (pbuh) to Mohammad (pbuh).

I learned many lessons from this period:
1- you can not buy guidance. It is a gift.
2- if you open your heart, mind and eyes you will receive the light.
3- training is essential in everything no matter how small matter it is. New converts need to be trained at the very beginning so that they do not find themselves nowhere.
4-Educating ones self is basic to carry on.
I will not change my views about this lady; she is a gifted fighter with a strong personality, a leader and deserves full marks.

1. The Quranic verse "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. Al-Baqarah 2:256" is a general rule that applies every where.
2. The hadith in question is classified in the "books of fighting". Rulings found in them can only be applied in specific cases, not in general.
3. There are many more hadiths which elaborate further on the matter which I'm sure you didn't bother to look at because your ignorance serves your puropse.
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: " It is not permissible to shed the blood of a Muslim except in three cases: An adulterer who had been married, who should be stoned to death; a man who killed another man intentionally, who should be killed; and a man who left Islam and waged war against Allah, the Might and Sublime, and His Messenger, who should be killed, or crucified, or banished from the land." [Nasai Vol. 5, Book 1, Hadith 4053]"

I was also isolated, in fact it was also self imposed sometimes bc I couldn't deal with people too much, subhanAllah. I have always been introverted anyway but also had some personal problems and hoped Allah would give me solutions to those problems. I needed eight months but I did get to meet an older revert sister and her Egyptian husband, it was also before 911. Then another woman from my highschool also came over to talk to me about Islam and she also reverted soon after.

It is amazing. The beginning of this sisters story is almos exactly tje same as my own story. I got chills when I was listening . I could feel her energy as she was talking. The part about a person trying to make you muslim happen to me. My brother gave me a Quran long before I became muslim. The tape( VHS).
