Hmmm… maybe it’s not such a bad idea Mostly we never knew what type of elves they could be once they found a mate for life, plus don’t they live longer or is it just _Lord of the Rings_ talk?
Elves are truly long-lived species, but who knows how it is with mates? Maybe they switch multiple times throughout their lives if they choose short-lived ones like humans, and maybe they will stay forever loyal even after their partner's death.
