      “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
      ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NIV‬
      ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame”
      Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
      “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.””
      ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭
      God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! ❤️🕊

    I’ve been walking 20k steps a day for the last 32 days. It’s been a game changer. I’m down 20lbs and I’ve finished about 15 audio books during that time. Haha it’s been great.

    • @JamesTudsbury
      @JamesTudsbury 2 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      How long does 20k steps tae on average out of your day? Is that 20k the total for the day, or only during intentional walks? Thanks,

    • @TFlip04
      @TFlip04 2 ปีที่แล้ว +43

      @@JamesTudsbury well I typically go for an hour to an hour and a half walk in the morning before I head to work. While I’m at work I try to get at least one walk break of 10-15 minutes. Then in the evening I will walk about an hour sometimes more just around my house. I have an open concept house so I can get a good 50-60 step circle and I just don’t sit down (other than dinner) until I have finished. I get the rest of the steps during my normal day. So maybe 2-3 hours of walking on top of my daily activities. But the perk of my indoor walking is I still get time with the family I’m just not sitting on the couch.

    Quit video game at 13 and became a Walker at 15 I’m 23 and although I’m not perfect, walking is a perfect practice for me. I started with 10 minutes, 30, and hour all in the first 2 years of doing it. After I was 17, bets were off, 2-3 hours. And it’s my favorite at night (only do that if you’re safe, and there’s no guarantee). There is simply no better “me-time” on the planet. My routes, my music and thoughts and even just silent walking will manufacture your own brand of sanity that better than a pill or some bs. Therapy doesn’t even scratch what walking did for me.

    Been having lower back pain recently and found out from several doctors that it’s lumbar spondylosis. Got it from overworking and sitting so long during lockdown(around 2 yrs) because we got 12hr shifts all week, and I got glued to my seat for if I get up and miss a call or something, I’m basically screwed. My mental health was in shambles, got trauma from my boss that made me work even extra w/o pay just to satisfy his demands…not to mention all that effort and sacrifice was not even recognised. So yep been walking a lot as some sort of therapy too. So far so good. Thinking of quitting soon but not now, it’s still hard to find other jobs, but when I do, I hope I get treated like a human being and not a machine.

    Very true! I am a delivery driver for FedEx, so walking is an everyday benefit for me. I have had a history of flat feet and rolling my ankle from coming down from a jump certain styles of lay-ups during basketball, so too much walking can actually leave feeling in pain. But it has also shown me the right way of how to walk without the pain. It doesn’t fix the problem alone. Iit takes time in the gym stretching, re-shaping, and re-strengthening my ankles and the rest of my legs through body-weight stuff like split squats, “sissy squats” (which are closely related), sled pushing, and the like. My recommendation as someone who has struggled with flat arches and rolled ankles: stretch them out and work them out/ strengthen them in the same workout. Some workouts i feel absolutely amazing afterwards, and others, I feel that there is a missing link and my walking is still uncomfortable. Make it a priority, but in 3 to 4 workouts, I usually still feel great at that point. Thanks for the advice my brother! I love your channel

    Great video, I walk with my dog daily on natural park trails in Vibram 5-fingers. Just great, health benefits through the roof. Many are unaware that Paleolithic hunter-gatherers walked more than they ran. No other animal has our stamina and we chased animals to exhaustion just by walking. It is the original, evolution approved, exercise!

    I love walking. I have a goal of 11000 steps per day set on my Garmin watch, which I hit consistently and often double and at times triple.
    I work in heavy industrial construction and I can always tell the difference in my mood if I’ve had to walk a lot during the day, compared with when I’m in and out of vehicles or have a fairly stationary task. I always feel so much more flat, worn out, tired and grumpy if I’m not walking big miles through the day.

    I agree. I like working out in all types of ways (running, lifting, calisthenics, sports) , but I always say that walking is the foundation of exercise . Walking is a great way to build yourself up to eventually start doing more difficult work out’s , it is also good to do on your rest days if you do other exercises , since it’s also great for recovery . Even if you’re not into working out I’d say walking is still beneficial for mental health and clarity, alongside physical health and living a longer, healthier life .

    Barefoot shoes are awesome. You feel better connected to the Earth if that makes sense. Now whenever I've put on a modern pair of shoes with too much padding I really dislike the feeling and something just feels off from not being as in touch with the ground beneath me.

    I started walking every morning at 4:30-5:00 the first time was a few months ago I was staying at va beach for the weekend. did it to watch the sun rise on the beach in bear feet it was beautiful. I've done it everyday since now I walk with ankle weights and a small dun bell in a back pack. I went for having very bad mental health from bipolar disorder and depression drug and alcohol problems to feeling great with no meds even helps me sleep 😴 it's the best I've ever done. the mental clarity and watching the sun rise every morning is amazing even lost ailttle weight. I recommend you start and increase your distance over time slowly if you walk 5-10 miles you will not want to do it the next morning. walking on trails in nature help but are not needed I walk around my complex and still get all the benefits I like there's very few people out side a 4-5 am it's also much cooler at that time around 65 or 75 instead of 85 or 95

    i walk every day for hours. everybody stares at my huge calves and shin and tendons and veins all build just from walking, especially women staring my ankles with open mouth. once i was walkin and my foot fell in to a hole covered with grass and i felt my foot bend in the ankle to the side and felt extreme stretch but didnt get injured cause its strong. even steroid gym builders stare with hate wondering how the hell this lean bastard has bigger legs.

    I take 10 000 step long walks every evening, and have been doing so for years. God I love it, when you find something you truly enjoy listening to or something that makes you feel enlightened. It cannot get better. Although I wish I would be able to walk during the day to get sunshine, but nonetheless I have what I have so I'll be happy with it. (Walking during the rain can also often multiply the mood depending on what you're aiming for, and street lights in the middle of the night when it's raining are super aesthetic to hit a pose under 💪)

    Started a month ago. I can go a few miles easily with my son. Love bonding with him without electronics. All we do is talk about our surroundings. Very relaxing. He never wants to go but Everytime we're out he takes it upon himself to educate me about birds and insects we see.

    About 9 months ago, I dedicated the majority of my lunch hours to walking. I'll eat my meal, and then walk around the commercial buildings in our area, listening to podcasts, music, or just walking to the noise around me. It's been my escape from the office every day, and I've kind of become addicted to it, and it's help me lose weight during that portion of time. Walking is amazing!

    I walk 20km to 30km almost every day in the woods of Switzerland and on the river banks. Sometimes I walk 45-50 km in a single day, but after that I need 1 day of rest. A year ago I switched all my shoes to Vivobarefoot and since then I've only been using the thinnest sole which is 3mm thin. I always wear them, in winter too. In the beginning I tried to focus on the best possible walk. First I had to learn how to walk since I never before noticed that my feets werent strong enoug to keep my leggs straight. Now walking feels light, like floating above the earth and your legs do their part. After 15 minutes I feel the dopamine and it makes me feel happy and start dancing and fooling around like a kid. 🫣 In the woods of Switzerland I walk up and down all the time as it is an alpine country. I also do some exercise in between if I feel like it. But walking with no luggage and finding a few water tap's in the woods and going on all day without ever feeling hungry. Hunger only comes after I've stopped walking or when I'm at home without doing anything.

    I'm telling you, half the problems of man can be solved by daily exercise (of some kind, LIKE WALKING), drinking water and simply being outdoors (aka touching the earth like our guy said).
    Stress reduction, muscle efficiency, all of it. Not a nutritionist, doctor or psychiatrist here, just a fellow human being who feels better about herself when I do these things! 👍🏽💙
