Short-term; sure.
Luka should have been untouchable. He is someone who you don't even consider trading, unless there's some other factor involved, because there is no way you are going to get fair market value for him. I'd say that there are 3 to 5 players at any given point in NBA history who have so much value, that no trade can add as much value as that player. Right now I'd say Wemby, Jokic, Shai, and Luka. If they got 20 picks for luka, what are the odds that they get a player like luka again? Look I'm a Lakers fan, but I'm still to flabbergasted by the trade to even be excited about it yet. I will say though that I don't think this is a case of the league favoring lebron, I actually think this is slightly detrimental to him. I don't usually go for the whole league conspiracy thing,... but I can't rationalize this move in any above the board way so yea, maybe.
Good move for Dallas in the short term. Good move for LA in the long term. Dallas is in WIN NOW mode. AD can play his true position at the 4, there’s better ball movement in Dallas, as Luka is a ball stopper with one of the highest usage rates in the NBA, even with that, the mavericks were at .500 and Dallas has plenty of firepower off the bench. Lakers don’t have any direction as off right now. Two guys who can’t play off the ball, can’t/wont play defense with no another big on that team (Jaxson Hayes is a big, media want to minimize so bad for no reason.) not to mention that Reeves, LeBron and Luka, needs the ball in their hands to create something. once LeBron retires/leaves, they already have the blueprint of how to build around a Luka/Lebron/RW/harden type. so I don’t agree with you. Respect to you and your work tho.

They had Porziņģis too
But what about Bronny?!
Leon Woods he went to Cal State Fullerton in California and he played in the NBA and then he became a referee for the NBA
Wow this is a BAD TAKE. Too much conspiracy. Dallas is better than L.A. now. The future...
Illu power move . Millionaires are workers too😢
I have 0 sympathy for any millionaires 🤷♀️
Terrible video
Follow the money
So kyrie and AD are trash and can’t win ..interesting
Bad video made some key points
Nash never won a ring
You’re such a pathetic Bron hater 😂😂😂 the league is not tryna gift him a ring

Mavs won the trade. Anthony Davis is a proven champ and Defensive juggernaut. Doncic is just a scorer, playmaker, and defensive liability.
AD > Doncic
Doncic is more successful in the playoffs than AD even with lesser teams.
@@lovelight1149 AD has been more successful. He won a Championship 🤷♀️
@@justineebourgeois3420 With Lebron. What did he do with the Pelicans? He's 7 years older and has only played 10 more playoff games than Luka.
@@lovelight1149 AD is bigger and much better defensively than Luka. AD is much more of a dominating force as well. Doncic is a ball-dominant player who is a pylon on defense.
@@justineebourgeois3420 You lose playmaking and scoring. Everybody ate off Luka especially Lively and Gafford. Luka led the playoffs in scoring and you not replacing his clip with AD. Luka maintained his scoring throughout the playoffs but the assists plummeted during the finals. If anybody else steps up they win and nobody talks about the defense. Dirk wasn't a defender, Jokic and Curry weren't. Many championship teams were spearheaded by one-sided offensive powerhouses.
mavs won the trade. yall buggin. luka is not better than AD whatsoever 😂😂😂
@@ogricch the Mavs didn’t win shit and yes he is and has been for the past 5 seasons luka led Mavs to deep playoffs runs as the best player with little help what AD done before LeBron??
🏀🏀🏀
MAVERICKS MADE A GOOD TRADE, I wouldn’t be shocked if we look at it 5 years from now in 2030 saying damn Mavs dodged one
Tired of the nba players mentality nowadays
