I got back in the car and thought about going home before doing my 1st jump but then I got in the plane and fell out of it! I've since been back and done it two more times. It is pur BLISS! Try Indoor Skydiving first. That's what I did. You get to feel the 'free-fall' and all from head/chest height.
Why the hell would you do this with a kid. You take all the fun out being an adult. This isn't something you do with your father or mother but with your friends. This should be an awesome experience, not some childs lame memory of the old days.
As if ypu would let kids do this...they dont fully understand the consequences if something goes wrong....you guys are wrong for doing this...they can do it when they are older...they have a life to live...not saying anything bad will happen...but dont put kids in that position, totally irresponsible.
I appreciate your concern and you are certainly welcome to your opinion, but these are our children. They did do this and they are perfectly fine. They really wanted to do this and an opportunity presented itself to make it happen. This was their decision to make which we fully supported. This is completely legal in Mexico where they went skydiving in tandem with a trained professional. It's not like we just took our kids up and threw them out of a plane and wished them good luck. They were no more in danger than sitting in the backseat of a car driving on the freeway. Have a great day!

Its called a drogue chute. Its for stability and speed control during tandem skydives.

This was in Mexico so the US age limit doesn't apply for tandem jumps. The US requires you to be at least 18 years old to jump within the US.
