Ron Pearlman before he became a popular actor. He did a good job playing the bad guy here. 1:08 its my guess that they were trying to put Fluke to sleep before examining him. That's why he was receiving those eyedrops. I don't think it was supposed to blind him. I could be wrong though.
@Allison Benvie All that just because Fluke bit that guy on the leg? All Fluke was doing was protecting Rumbo. He didn't quite understand that the man stepped on Rumbo's tail by accident. Its possible those scientists were crooked. Couldn't say for sure.
@Allison Benvie & Last, 3:44 I do wish the guard had stopped that guy. (Shoot the dog! You can't shoot the dog!) So he grabs the gun. That part bothers me. Today if you shoot a dog you can face a pretty hefty fine & jail time for animal cruelty. Ron Pearlman was the real bad guy in the movie in these few short scenes he was in. Not Flukes human partner Jeff played by (Eric Stoltz). I didn't know too much about Ron Pearlman back then. But this was the first time I ever saw him in any movie. He did a pretty good job playing a creep in these scenes.
(Sylvester was about to shoot Rumbo then until I comes in as Incredible Hulk smash’s thought and roars at Sylvester) Me : (to Slyvester) BRIANNA MAD!!!! (grabs his neck) EAT PAIN YOU SICK MORON!!!! (strangled him as he’s screams) Sylvester : (screaming in pain and as his face turn purple and can’t breathe) Me as Incredible Hulk : (Roars and throws him at the wall to death) NO MORE ANIMAL ABUSE!!!!!
As sad as this is, I prefer it to Rumbo's death in the book. He was literally crushed by a falling car in the junkyard. Fluke didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to him!
The part with the chimp and the puppy is so memorable and cute. Although Rumbo dying makes me cry every time.
He gets reincarnated as a squirrel.
Same here darling
2:57 I have to say, the chimpanzee felt as though that puppy was a friend of his and it moved my heart greatly.
That music is so iconic... 08/06/2020
One of the best music score I've heard ☺️
I've seen this movie a zillion times and am just now realizing that's Ron Perlman! lol
1:57 is the best part of that scene.
The music adds to the dynamic.
JDMod789 what a badass
1:57 Its amazing how Rumbo manages to jump through the window without getting cut by the broken glass. Still wish he hadn't of gotten shot though.
the tempered glass breaks differently (it's a safer glass like in cars windows).
That chimp is so cute!:) I love this film it's my favorite part
Rambo is the best ❤️
First movie scene to ever make me cry...rip Rumbo the dog
I remember this movie I use to watch this I was little

R.I.PRumbo

Rambo was a real hero
Stop Crying damn it!!!
I watch slasher shit and brutal thrillers... why this shit make me cry even 20 years later?! lol

@Allison Benvie & if they they hadn't of gotten interrupted by Rumbo, I doubt they'd have found anything. He wasn't infected with rabies or nothing.

Um
If that Scientist did find out the truth about recarnation. Then he would have won the Noble Prize
